I'll agree on the SA-15" Jacob may have some B-stock woofers laying around

would i hook it up to a amp and hook it to a dmm or just a speaker wire going to a radio? the only amp i have access to right now is a 2000rms and this sub is only 200 rms i wish it was more but i cant complain it is free. No, put the meter on OHMs and hook the positive and negative probes straight to the terminals of the sub and it will tell you the ohm of the coils
-
Use a DMM and check the coils.

Second run of 1/0 for ground?
RickyFriery97 replied to RickyFriery97's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
Lol you should only have to ground it if you have engine noise, but it can be caused by multiple other things. And grounding the RCAs doesn't always fix it -

DD-1 question "ground"
RickyFriery97 replied to Winn's topic in SMD Distortion Detector (DD-1) Topics
In the manual it says to the amplifier ground, either at the amp or where it's grounded -
It your gunna be adding another 3 subs, then get the aq1200d and when your running 4 subs run two AQ1200ds
-
AQ 750.1 would be another good choice Edit- nvm just saw its a D4 I would go with the alpine

RickyFriery97 replied to 97SSBlazer's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
I've heard Great things about the 270xp You could also look into singer alts. He quoted me a awesome price for a 350 amp unit that does 200+ at idle -

RickyFriery97 replied to NightmareImpala's topic in XS Power Batteries / Chargers! (and other stuff too)

Second run of 1/0 for ground?
RickyFriery97 replied to RickyFriery97's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
Big three is all done, I have dual alts also with a single 300 amp Iraggi alt (soon to be replaced) running the system witch is only one RF T2500BDCP at the moment Will have one D3400 and 1 D3100, then the 2 runs of 1/0 Voltage should be pretty steady -
