    i have 1/0 added to the stock engine ground in my tahoe, when i did the big three i didnt replace anything, i added to it now on my older burban (97) i replaced all the stock charging wires with 1/0, no problems with either! the big three will always help with the current flow even on stock applications

    mainly people get the XP for the high output at idle with the dual kit, either the 270XP, or 270SP will be fine

    if the componet set is 2 ohm to begin with if you wire it normally to a single channel it would see 2 ohm just like if you wire a 4 ohm componet set normally to a single channel it will see 4 ohm someone correct me if im wrong.. you can do it with a single componet set but you cant wire two 2 ohm componet sets together for a final 2 ohm load

    Going to buy a clamp meter today from harbour freight and see how it does...will be clamping my iraggi 300 amp alts and my stock GM 160 amp alt and maybe a crunch GPV2000.1 for shits and giggles :) youtube vids up tonight!

      DC is how you would clamp amps right? i havent owened a clamp meter and have never clamped anything...im more interested in my alts.

      You need an AC clamp to measure speaker wires, but a DC clamp to test an amp's current draw or an alternator's output.
