I currently have a battery mounted in my hatch, but I need to move it. The issue is that the wire isnt long enough. I want it to go from where it is now to next to the trunk light (on the right) How could I do this? I was thinking of running ring terminals on each end of newer power wire and attaching it to the end of the existing power wire with a nut and bolt.. and then just taping it up. Would that be sufficient? Thanks in advance guys

I bought an adapter. Its all around easier. You solder and heatshrink the wires and tubing inside the house or garage.. and then simply plug in the harness.. and youre golden. If I thief wants a HU bad enough, I highly doubt that a dozen of tiny 16 awg wires are going to hold him back.

I'd have them wired COMPLETELY isolated from the headlights then. I have plenty of options Stroupe, the fogs have to be on with the lows. I suppose I don't need to remove fogs. I'm just making more work for myself :/
