  1. You could always use the amplifier´s phase switch hehe, and yes you´ll change the internal space, depending on the subwoofer displacement you´ll get the tunning a little bit lower...
  2. Derrick, with that low tuning, can you still play loud past 42 hz frequencies?
  3. Nice to know that, i´ll PM him today to ask him a couple of questions, thanks jacob and keep the trial coming
  4. Damn! Very nice bro, maybe i lost because i did close the sides, damn i envy you hehe, your boxes ALWAYS score very high numbers, have you ever played with a 2 gen explorer? my box doesn´t have that efficiency, 148.5 dbs with around 1800 clamped watts while you can score 150.1 with that and a single 18"
  5. hehehe it looks like something i built for my swift a year ago, don´t have any pics tho, i droppped a almost 1 db by doing that haha, every car is different of course, how much did you gain with that? or, how much did you loose by foaming?
  6. 30$? damn!! That´s expensive for such a small "show" , i understand your point, but for me, there´s no price on a competition, they are way to fun, i enjoy them A LOT!
  7. It looks fun, i wish there would be shows like that here, we have to wait 2 and even 3 months to have a " big show" wich is something like that... Why didn´t you get the blazer on it??
  8. Sounds good, if you wanna round the port also, you could do it with PVC as i did, secure it and that´s it, i have won some tenths on the TL by doing this every time, look at the sexplorer´s port:
  9. I did one time for a friend what i said, got the rod from the top to the bottom, and then, got double baffled on both faces with the hole where the nut was, then filled the hole and carpeted the box
  10. You could get double bafle on the bottom also i guess so the rod finishes on the first baffle i guess...
  11. Yes, those Rods are AWESOME, i always use them for bracing with great results, they don´t take any internal space and i even like how they look hehe, here´s a couple of pics of mines. Sexplorer box: Swift box:
  12. Glad to read this, good look with your new mids/highs
  13. Remember that, cutting down the ports lenght would raise your internal space, for 33 hz tuning you should get 12" each port and you would get a little bit more than 4 cubic feet if you really have 3.95 c/f right now...
  14. When you started the thread you said you had 3 cubic feet, now it´s 3.95 c/f?? Wich one is it?? on the other hand, with 2 4" ports 17" long, should be: 1) If it´s 3 c/f after displacement: 33 HZ 2) iF it´s 3.95 c/f after displacement: 29 hz Someone double check me...
  15. Without the jokes, i did 4 12´s because it´s been more typical on Explorer Street C setups, but i LOVE 2 15´s setups hehe, i would use a pair of 15´s monsters if i were you
  16. ehehehe look at my sig, i´m a pussy hahaha
  17. Yessss, i also wanna see 2 15´s , i think that people with 4 12´s are pussy!!
  18. I have seen a few amps here and they are pretty nice for the money but i dunno if it´s overated or not...
  19. Why do you always start the thread with that annoying title instead of using your real question?
  20. Damn, this sucks!!! I payed A LOT of money to murilo more than 2 weeks ago and still don´t have my amp, i´m not fighting with anybody about that haha, i know an international shipping isn´t easy at all...
  21. Huummm, like that one also!! I´m planning on painting that bitch very soon!!
  22. No worries dude, it doesn´t have to be perfect, it´s just to get me some ideas, i like that one actually, only thing would be some nice headlights, don´t like that black idea i guess, but the rest of the car, it´s very nice dude!!! Yeah i know PS it´s not that easy for this work ehehe, another good idea? as i told you before, it doesn´t have to be that perfect, i have some good ideas already thanks to SMD forum
