I just looked and diddnt see it. See the newer T400.4's all day long. The one that i was bidding on sold for $275, which is pretty high to me.

Been wanting to go bigger for a while. Love the amp I have now ( rockford power 1000 5 channel ), but I would have to sell this amp to fund the others. So was thinking of getting a aq2200d and a aq4x90. Also would be selling the L7 and box i have now and getting 2 level 3 15's or 1 level 4 18, maybe. Should I go for it or just keep what I have already? Was going to trade my amp for a R.F T2000, but wanted to have matching amps and cannot find a T400.4 for sale ( older style, found one on ebay but was outbid). So, what should i do?

Nice steal on the RF stuff, and I didn't know there was a picture before because it didn't show up haha I feel dumb now. I just ended up buying some because the way I was gonna bolt them woulda looked real clean, but was gonna cost me almost just as much. nice i did the same thing!!! 2 caps for 10 dollars about 10 2pack fuses at 1 dollar each 2 rockford batter posts at couple dolalrs distros at couple dollars 3 packs of dual twist for 10 dollars all of there 8/4/0 terminals at 1 dollar each, i cleared out the three best buys close to me HAHA I was trying to buy up everything they had as well. Every time me and my wife went in, we made a pit stop over there to see if they had anything left.

Looks like he screwed a piece of mdf to the floor. With the other piece drilled two holes for the bolts. Add some washers each side of the bolt, screw the mdf with the bolts in it to the other that is mounted to the floor. Then like he said, get some wingnuts to hold down the cables, and now you have a dist block. When best buy was getting rid of there rockford stuff to make room for the kicker stuff, they had all the r.f stuff on clearance. I ended up picking up two or three dist blocks for like 4 or 5 bucks each. Was hella cheap. I also got like 3 or 4 8g capacitor install kits that was like 2 bucks each. Really just wanted it for the wire.

To be honest it was a little difficult to understand, but when i installed my new battery a couple of weeks ago and changed out the cables, was a lot easier for some reason.

And also, the bass knob should be all the way up, correct? Would it be better if you use a sweep as opposed to a single tone to adjust the gains for the frequency which that channel controls?

I have read to set your eq settings to flat and adjust the gains with till there is no clipping found with the o-scope. I have dont this and it seems find to me, but my question is why would you set your eq to flat and not adjust to your liking then adjust the gains to where there is not clipping?

Looks like the tensioner is worn out. The belt is worn due to the belt rubbing on the tensioner itself ( not the pulley obviosly)

Nice, ill let him know. He had one built for his brothers 740 that puts out 200max and 140 at idle. Cant remember who he had it built by, but ill let hime know.

SP was 250 and the other was 240. The xp that was looking at was a 250 as well

Well i checked on there site and compared the alt output at idle and was only 20 amps differnce from the xp line and the other two lines. XP was rated at 170amps and the others were at 150amps at idle. Not much for the price differnce

How much do you think i would need to do all 4 doors ( inner and outer skins ), rear hatch, and the floorboards.

A friend of mine has a 1991 volvo 740 turbo and was wondering if mechman make a high output alternator for this car? probably looking at maybe 200-250amps. Can someone let me know if they do or not. Thanks

A friend of mine wants to run dc audio subs in his volvo wagon. The subs will be powered by a Alpine MRP-M1000 ( 1000rms at 2ohm ). Was thinking of going with some level 3 10's d4. Was wondering what people think and also if a dealer can get me a quote. Also this box will be sealed wiht around 2.0 c.f before displacement
