  1. Nice steal on the RF stuff, and I didn't know there was a picture before because it didn't show up haha I feel dumb now. I just ended up buying some because the way I was gonna bolt them woulda looked real clean, but was gonna cost me almost just as much. nice i did the same thing!!! 2 caps for 10 dollars about 10 2pack fuses at 1 dollar each 2 rockford batter posts at couple dolalrs distros at couple dollars 3 packs of dual twist for 10 dollars all of there 8/4/0 terminals at 1 dollar each, i cleared out the three best buys close to me HAHA I was trying to buy up everything they had as well. Every time me and my wife went in, we made a pit stop over there to see if they had anything left.
  2. Looks like he screwed a piece of mdf to the floor. With the other piece drilled two holes for the bolts. Add some washers each side of the bolt, screw the mdf with the bolts in it to the other that is mounted to the floor. Then like he said, get some wingnuts to hold down the cables, and now you have a dist block. When best buy was getting rid of there rockford stuff to make room for the kicker stuff, they had all the r.f stuff on clearance. I ended up picking up two or three dist blocks for like 4 or 5 bucks each. Was hella cheap. I also got like 3 or 4 8g capacitor install kits that was like 2 bucks each. Really just wanted it for the wire.
  3. To be honest it was a little difficult to understand, but when i installed my new battery a couple of weeks ago and changed out the cables, was a lot easier for some reason.
  4. My first and only is the amp im running now, 25 to Life Rockford Fosgate Power 1000
  5. I know that you cannot get the good vibrations song that Steve plays at CES a while ago, but from what i remember the song was on the R.F 360 set up cd, right? Cause I was on rockfords site right now and saw that you can purchase just the setup CD only.
  6. And also, the bass knob should be all the way up, correct? Would it be better if you use a sweep as opposed to a single tone to adjust the gains for the frequency which that channel controls?
  7. I have read to set your eq settings to flat and adjust the gains with till there is no clipping found with the o-scope. I have dont this and it seems find to me, but my question is why would you set your eq to flat and not adjust to your liking then adjust the gains to where there is not clipping?
  8. Looks like the tensioner is worn out. The belt is worn due to the belt rubbing on the tensioner itself ( not the pulley obviosly)
  9. SP was 250 and the other was 240. The xp that was looking at was a 250 as well
  10. Something like 2 D3100's
  11. Well i checked on there site and compared the alt output at idle and was only 20 amps differnce from the xp line and the other two lines. XP was rated at 170amps and the others were at 150amps at idle. Not much for the price differnce
  12. How much do you think i would need to do all 4 doors ( inner and outer skins ), rear hatch, and the floorboards.
  13. I have a question, what is a 4th order simply explained? I have wondered this ever since joining the site.
  14. Was just looking at the dc site and compared the XP, PRO, SP lines and was wondering what the differance between the three actually are. What im looking at is what make the xp line so great?
  15. Yea afterwards i relized that i put down d4. Thanks for the p.m so quick
  16. A friend of mine wants to run dc audio subs in his volvo wagon. The subs will be powered by a Alpine MRP-M1000 ( 1000rms at 2ohm ). Was thinking of going with some level 3 10's d4. Was wondering what people think and also if a dealer can get me a quote. Also this box will be sealed wiht around 2.0 c.f before displacement
  17. I did the relay and was pretty simple.
  18. How much 8g you tryin to get.for.them.
  19. Likin this one the most so far. Im gonna try and make a appointment for the 19th to get some work done
  20. So i just got done installing the S3400. I did order the ibar kit. Had to run some new 1/0 for the alt and amp wire. See how it is tommorrow. A littl to late to crank it up tonight
  21. I just got done installing the battery a little while ago. Gonna mess with it tommorrow. How you like yours. Which do you have

  22. So what about this sheet metal case that they recomend? Is it worth it? I can get from Jegs a s3400 shipped for about 250 and thats the cheapest i found shipped. They dont have the d3400
  23. So I'm about to order a new battery for my yukon. This will be a replacement and the only battery I will be running. My system has about 1500rms. I was going to go with a D1200, but after some thinking, i may be going with a 3400. So I saw that they have a S and D 3400 and was wondering what the differance is between the two? The only thing that i can see is that the S model has a steel case and the D has a re-inforced plastic case. When researching the D1200, they recomended to go with what seemed to be a sheet metal case to keep the battery cool from engine heat. So if I order a S3400, i should be good then right.
  24. You gonna do your whole back to? I think im gonna go in next month and continue with the chest. Not looking forward to the pain, but cant wait for finished results
