They need a lot of input current not voltage and the signal voltage can cause you problems in the input section if there is distortion in the signal path

That system was supposed to go in for a single show then get taken back out BUT...... It actually did OK, so it stayed in for about 6 months. We put it all together in around 5 hours start to finish and after 6 months things like the temp beauty panels broke apart SO I decided it was time to change. Now I have some decisions to make. First what amps and subs to use. I have a few amps hanging around gathering dust that I might have to pull out and see how they fit in the car.
