  1. Product: Audio Wrap License Plate Kit Sound Deadener Manufactured by: Audio Wrap Purchased/recieved from: Got free in the mail by sending them my address through e-mail Well first, I'd like to straight up say that I liked the product! I've never dealt with any kind of dampening materials of any kind, so I didn't know what to expect. But IMHO, Audio Wrap just takes the cake and I would recommend it to everyone. What I was able to use was the free license plate kit that I got from Audio Wrap for free, and put it on my license plate. Like anyone, before I added the Audio Wrap, I gave the plate quite a couple of beatings so that I could see how it sounded before installation and un-installed. Then I added the deadening material and boy did it make a difference, I wasn't like it was hitting a license plate anymore. It sounded more like knocking on or hitting wood, not metal. The small piece of deadener which did not cover the entire plate had just those effects which sounded like it did. I hit the plate where there was deadener underneath and even where there wasn't and it sounded just as stiff. All in all I loved it and I will buy more to cover the doors and trunk in my car ASAP. Another thing, I ordered Friday and got it Monday. Maybe the video will explain a little more http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8FNkt-lWdM Disclaimer* This is just my review and what I think of it and no more, I am not forcing you to do anything...
  2. It's High Dynamic Recompilation, and I don't know what that means but it looks awesome to me. lulz
  3. Bump for wanting an amp that not many have
  4. The CCA Knuwire is rated at 100 amps, and the OFC is rated at 150 amps (so get a 150 amp fuse). And I think it's about the same price as 1/0 CCA... I'm pretty sure the OFC Knuwire is more than enough, the fuse will protect the wire and provide the current the amp needs.
  5. I think you mean sa-12 right? 600 rms? I'd say get rid of that amp and get yourself something else, the cheaper option is an audiopipe 1500d amp and next to that I'd buy an AQ1200D amp. And you should have enough over from the 700 to buy anything else you may need. I read once that some once changed out their Hifonics 1600 or 1200 (i dont remember too well) out for one of those Hifi 2000 and he noticed a huge decrease in power!
  6. check that 3rd breaker from top to bottom, seems to be off and close the lid on that ice chest, the beers will get warm
  7. Proud sponsor-er of Cool Story Bro, Cool Story Bro, that is all. I got mine today as well, but it's at home and I'm not home
  8. Bump, If you know someone with one let them know I'm interested
  9. Bump, If you know anyone who has one at all let em' know I'm looking for one!
  10. the AQ will give the subs all they need and a bit more, don't go by peak it doesn't mean anything. they're 800 rms and you will have 870 rms to play with
  11. You should be good with anAQ1200D at 2 ohms the 800 rms the subs are rated for is for both of them. And the AQ does 870x1@2ohms just be careful what you set the gain to
  12. Bump, oh and I've bought from JBurt09, OrionStang, bcpballer64, and LoudNLow931 from here as refs! EDIT: and now even audioman21
  13. As the title states, I'd like to give it a try and see if anyone has either of these amp in good working conditions or maybe just working conditions. I've been looking for one for quite some time now and have had no luck, or someone always buys before me. I'd prefer that ones that look like this: For a MD1D I'd be willing to pay up to ~$200 shipped or the MD2D for up to ~$250 or less on either would be preferable. Also I have a Kicker ZX460 that I can add to trade plus cash on my end. TY
  14. wire to 2 ohms, or just use one coil at 1 ohm and set the gain accordingly.
  15. You can check them wherever you want, my DMM reads perfect at the amp terminals. And since you said your subs are new the only thing at fault could be your DMM or it's not set right. Make sure its on resistance or the ohm sign whatever your DMM has and turn the dial to the smallest number, in my case it was 20, but still your best bet is to check each coil on the subs
  16. From the inside of the truck use sound deadner the outside where you put tape is fine like that. I think just about all/most suvs have this problem with vents in the rear.
  17. I read once that if you have to ask then do it. I didn't fuse mine, if somethings happens well then it happens...
  18. Make a cut or two to test it out if you can, and I would use it. Sounds like it's in great conditions. You'd know if it wasn't good any more. I've had MDF water damage and its not pretty one bit. EDIT: Just to mention MDF price, here it's about 35 something with taxes already
  19. nice man, impala owner myself too! i'd like to see how this will go!
