I don't think it's cluttering the thread. He made the post stating the fact, which I have yet to see anyone actually argue. But if you wire to the draw, I will bet there won't be a difference besides price. So then better is subjective...what's better to who? Better for less runs? Better price wise? Better conductor? There are a lot of factors that may affect how someone describes better, especially when it comes to wire. But I'll take the same performance at half the cost

I know what you're comparing. That's my point, that's why I ignored that math. I said 50' to 50' and you responded but used an equation that obviously put your desired result in the winning category. I wired for a max of 3,000 amps. Want to do the math on that which is cheaper? Better yet...have you tested both? Because I have. And for the exact same score at the exact same frequency but a whole lot less, I'll never listen to your arguments in this. I don't are if wire to wire the OFC is better, and I don't think anyone has once stated it wasn't. But if you're doing multiple runs using spool after spool, you look at the cost. I have switched...have you? No. So...is the only reason you believe this because that is what science on paper says? Side note: I do agree when it is said OFC vs CCA will go on forever. I was a die hard OFC guy...and when I actually used CCA, I couldn't believe it. My experience and my opinion. But I guess people setting records using CCA are just accidentally hitting these numbers

And ANY smart individual WOULD care about what the amp can do at 2 and 4 ohms, they are just good bits of information. And if you want to leave power output alone since it's a daily setup no need to factor rise, good...but knowing what an amp does clean is just good info. Taylor does an awesome test and everyone cries about this and that. Cody goes out of his way, spends big money and does this test and people still find something to gripe about. Yes, I'm annoyed, lol. You don't like the test? Think it's irrelevant? Don't care about 2 and 4 ohm clamps? Then just keep your $0.02 to yourself

I wish people would get off of that train right now, saying .8 or 1 ohm numbers don't matter because of rise... Who in here is discrediting 14 voltage numbers because some people don't have the proper electrical and drop to 12 volts? "Yeah, screw those numbers because they're at 14 volts and I drop to 11" You are seeing what the amp CAN do at this impedance and this voltage, it's up to the user to get as close to those conditions as possible. Not the amps

Alaska is fun! It is pretty epic here to be honest...but if you want awesome shows, or just car audio events...we are pretty lacking. I was at a show yesterday and it really has me wanting to organize something much better for the scene here. Just another to do on a million page list, lol. I've been to Vegas twice now and still haven't seen FI/AA so maybe next time out I'll let you guys know. And listen to some team sub goodies -

If only Alaska was somehow physically connected to the US, lol -

What car? Where are you installing the sub? What amp will you be using? If it were me the power I would be throwing would make a huge factor in how I would build the box. -
And a Tahoe with six T2 15"s on three RF 1000s nonwalled only scored a 47.

It definitely felt a little louder than a 46. Got to see (and smell) those level 6s in person. God my mayhems look a little small now...lol.
