  1. I had the barber (actually speaking of which you should be going to a barber unless you hit the stylist to get your nails done) cut too much off once. When I bitched he said "It's no problem I can fix it" I was like wtf are you going to do glue it back on?! I have the same person cut my hair. Same guy cut it from 8-17 then another guy from 17-22, then a chick I went to school with from then till about 30 and now another chick I went to school with (those are guesses don't remember the exact ages). When they know you, you don't have those problems.
  2. No he is trying to say that you need 1/0 for a 2ft ground run and 150a'ish of draw to get rid of your dimming. 1/0 is always "better", but its capacity is well beyond what you need. If you plan on upgrading in the future and have the money do it in 1/0, if not 4g is fine as you have a max draw around 150a which is what most 4g can do at 8-12' and your stock wiring is already 4g afaik. Have your battery tested and do the big 3 in either 4g or 1/0, just don't buy it local you will get ripped off (go to Knukoncepts or the like)
  3. I don't know of anywhere no, I just drilled holes in the cubbyhole where your manuals and hitch shit are (on the cargo floor). If you drill to the right (passenger side) of the cubby it's pretty open there (be sure to double check), just be extremely careful if you drill left (driver) cause the neck for the tank runs by there. Actually now that I think about it, there might be an exiting hole where the rear air ride is (where that air hose is, behind those panels, it leads under the truck) just not sure how big the hole is. While there could be stuff under the back seats I'm not sure as I never pulled my carpet back there. No matter what you do just be damn sure to look before you drill as these trucks have an unreal amount of crap under them.
  4. Sorry thought this txt I got was a job I was waiting to go on... The one amp needs a 120a fuse The other amp needs a 60a fuse If you are going to do a chassis ground the thickest spot I know if is under the molding in the door jam (where is curves out big time). Just make sure they didn't just ground it to a seat bolt w/o taking of the paint. I also just noticed you said money is crazy tight, but you still need to add grounds up front from the chassis (or frame) to the battery and from the battery to one of the bolts on the alt (one of the 2 that hold the alt in). You should also add a run from the alt (power) to the battery. You can use 4g if you can't afford 1/0 as 1/0 that short is complete overkill. If you don't know where to run your frame or chassis ground this is what I would do. Get enough 4g to run from the alt to the frame and then from the frame to the battery. The location I would use is on the drivers side (called left) left of the cross member under the truck. Look for a hole in that brace just above where the cross member bolts into. Get a 1/4" stainless (important, STAINLESS) bolt, washer, lock washer, and a nut. Sand down where the hole is, put the bolt in, put on the washer, put on your 2 4g runs, lock washer, and nut. Then hit it with some spray paint (rustolium or whatever you have handy). Run one of those to your alt (as close to it as possible, depending on the ring terminal you have try to get it between the bracket the alt sits in and the alt itself) and run the other to the bettery. Then as said above just make a positive run (add do not remove the existing wire) from the battery to the alt. This is where I ground 2 of my runs (where I suggest you do as well). Unfortunately our frames have next to no gaps for you to bolt into it so I go with where there is some serious welds. Anyways... There are 3 videos as I didn't feel like editing them when I posted them, check my channel for the other 2.
  5. You have a 145a alt... Big 3 and change your ground in the back and you should be set (I also have a TBSS). Where exactly did they ground it in the back?
  6. Those are from the Taylor show summer before last. What ever happened to that wagon anyways?
  7. Ours was always weak sauce off campus (dedicated fiber to all the buildings in town) due to QOS. The fastest I've had work wise unhampered was an OC3, but back then you were capped by the nic anyways
  8. Yea um funk that, that's like $200 a month, I pay like 1/3rd that. lol
  9. Yea um... WOW has cheap internet... My bill is now where my Comcast bill used to be 25/2 (burst)
  10. I for one wouldn't have a yellow top charging that high in the cabin with me...
  11. Sorry to hear it man, not sure what else to say. People close to me that have had cancer (outside of older people from my family) both had tumors in their necks in the exact same place, it was so bizarre because they grew up 8 blocks from each other... Anyways, good luck man, I haven't been through it, but you sound like you are taking it like my one friend did as opposed to the other (the other wasn't pretty) which is good to hear. As far as the family goes the saying isn't off base, we just never gave it any credit. You never appreciate what you have until it's gone (or until you truly realize it can be taken away). It's sad, but true, I sure as hell don't appreciate where I am or what I have enough, but I try.
  12. I've read that is what you are supposed to do... but what happens if you don't? It's a thicker wire so it should work fine shouldn't it? well electricity works by taking the path of least resistance. what if your piece of 1/0 has slightly more resistance than the stock charging wire? im not saying its going to be likely, but you never know. its just what has been taught, as well as what the big 3 guide says in the electrical section. Also that wire often splits and goes into some sort of ECU or PCM and if that doesn't get power you have problems.
  13. Sounds like the drive is either screwed up or maybe something wrong with the power supply in the 360... Sounds like hardware to me... If you don't see their forums overflowing with people having the same problem it's w/o a doubt hardware (unless you installed some bs on there).
  14. Good to know I wasn't crazy, or better yet, no dude is that crazy.
  15. It's extreme especially from a guy. I would never do that to my wife even if she did cheat. That is kiddie bullshit right there and while some might think "Yea! That bitch got what she deserved!" she didn't. If she gave him the herps or aids, then yea as you are stuck with it for life, but not for taking it from another dude. It's obvious this guy didn't give a rats ass about her doing shit like that so it's no wonder she was getting it elsewhere. The guy basically put up a self portrait is what he did. Also I saw this the other day and I'm still not convinced it's real. First off it actually looks kind of like a bee hive and the quality is bad, really bad (lighting at the top looks off where the fly shows up too well, right sleeve looks off, weird shadow at the bottom, etc), and it comes from some off the wall Ohio website rather than a mainstream outlet.
  16. Advertisement. Visits to the linked site. And get a virus on your system and use it to basically hijack your computer to use for that kind of stuff. (I may be wrong, I haven't heard about that stuff in a while). And UnderLoK, you forgot a handy URL for me to click on I didn't, but I didn't want a mod to think I was hijacked or something haha
  17. Coherent sentence you problem?! We have answers! Visit our site on exclusivity deal for our books! On this week special!!!
  18. Upgrade to vBull EDIT: I always hated doing forum upgrades, half the time you would be wading through errors for 4-6 hours and then fighting bugs from addons for another week...
  19. All the years I've been using them I've had one lost package and it was found 2 days later so I've been lucky as I'm sure it happens often (even 0.5% is tons considering how much they ship). As far as insurance goes, shipping comes with built in coverage, but they offer extra. It's not just for lost items, it's for damage as well which happens even if people are careful. Loads shift, planes have hard landings, "shit happens", etc. The same goes with signature required or not paying PP fees... These are all risks you sign up to take (literally as it's all over the forms that you sign). At the guy talking about the driver wanting to steal his stuff... If he was going to steal it he would have said it was delivered not incomplete address as it would still have to be on his truck, it's not like "oh cool wrong address means it's mine to keep". OP: Left at the gate makes me think the driver left it sitting on the curb... I didn't think they could do that.
  20. so u did roughly 100% coverage then 50% coverage over that? You're short a 0 I hate rattle traps with a passion as all my cars in the 90's sounded like shit outside. On top of that I didn't want my roof to rip or deform. A few bucks up front to save massive bucks later seems worth it to me.
  21. So by this data I would need around 12 layers+ of PnS on my roof for the same performance... Nice!
  22. You just gotta keep your eyes open for deals and jump when they pop up... This was B Stock FTMFW I would assume because it's so damn expensive
  23. Exactly but as seen you need only 5 layer of PnS matching right up with that other products so thats obviously better deal why the test are all stupid.
  24. These are hands down the best sounding "big subs" I have ever heard. I still love mine and it's fun when the haters hate... Ask Sensia They get loud with less than that. If you want a SPL geared sub you should be looking at Mayhems or BTLs or the like. Yea Steve throws 7k at his, Trippi did the same, and that one dude with the Tahoe did 9k each... They all share the same stigma, high 50's. If you are out for numbers you shouldn't be looking at SMDs, but if you are out for a fantastic sounding sub (even with my wimpy 3kw each) you can't go wrong.
