A few D3100s should work fine for you. Not as long as what the stock size would take, it fits good Im so happy! Had a guy that fit a D2400 in the stock location, so you probably can. 3400 under the hood and 3100 in the back if you are going to be doing demos and running the V belt on your alt.

Well Said, this is why AGM batteries are so perfect for the job of car audio, they last a long time, can pull more current instantly due to the low resistance, and they wont spill out of they do not seep out toxic hydrogen gas if used correctly, so you can have them in the cabin of the car, other battery types are not as safe to have in the cabin of your vehicle, so do it with caution

Yea, I would probably do a 14v system, you can sometimes maybe get by without a step down, but its kinda hard on your cars electronics, since they are all designed to run in the 12v range, but many will go up to around 15 volts fine, but with a 14v charging system it will have to charge higher then that

On Top of that, when your voltage drops that low, your amps become really inefficient, so they are trying to push more power out of them and they are just really pulling more amps and not getting much more power at all, just heating up the amps and wasting energy, if your voltage drops that low you need to get another alt in there or something, unless your running your system only on batteries where the engine is off, or some comp like that, then there is nothing you can really do, except get some 14v batteries ha ha

Faster internet ... better phone service ... more on-demand / pay-per-view - HD/3D interaction ... How much faster on the internet? I am at 20mb down now but I am in a good location. Not sure ... thats where I'm at now too ... you got to admit, thats fast !!! but yes ... I'm hearing about faster speeds ... for businesses maybe, not really for me to say at this time ... we have 20mbps service here, and it peaks at 2.5 MB/s which lets me dl anything in a few minutes, its awesome. Remember when they advertise a service like 20 mbps, it stands for MegaBITS per second, so you have to divide by 8 to get the bytes which is 2.5 MB/s its expensive as hell though, and I am going to miss these speeds when I move out

It sais on optimas website that 10amps is the max you can charge optima batteries at and the hf1215 is a 15amp charger. I checked cause I wanted to charge the yellow top I took out of my car before I let my brother have it but I'm not gonna do it with my hf1215. i charge mine with it just fine. gotta remember that your car charges it at close to 1-alt size (270 amps) depending on how depleted the battery is
