We thought about that, but flipping the switch on the back would be the same thing... But, if it didnt have a switch on the back, like a lot don't, that would be a perfect answer for that problem!!! Crap I never thought about that!!!! LOL! I even had one without a switch that we put back on the shelve for that reason! What size PSU he use and do you know what he pushed with it and how did it do? Our setup did ok...

Is it set to boot off HDD? If it sat, posibly battery leaked down and maybe bios is retarded and not set to boot off HDD? Did you ever find an answer?

Try doing all updates to IE, if not using 8, update to 8... Hope that helps! Also do a manual Java Runtime update... If it only crashes in forums, more than likely Java Runtime

We had a 550 watt PSU wired to a 600 watts RMS M650 amplifier running 2 12's and it worked fine... Just wire all 12v rails together, (yellow wires on the PSU molent connectors) and all the grounds, (black)and leave 1 yellow out to hook to amp remote... You will need a jumper wire on I believe the green wire to one of the ground wires to turn on power to the PSU. You will need to use rocker switch on back of PSU to turn on and off...

I bet your running Vista!! That is a known Vista problem, the best workaraound in to go to Win 7 unfortunatly... I was plagued with that with Vista and could not really ever find a rock solid fix that lasted...

Get the DOTNETFX_CLEANUP_TOOL.ZIP from Microsoft and tell it to uninstall all versions of .NET Framework and then do windows updates again to get it back... Then aftwards get the .NET 1.1 framework since it isn't included in updates anymore... This should correct that... We had a pc here just a few days with same problem... Hope that helps!

There are several ways to work around the antivirus yearly charge... One way is to use a pirated copy of Nortons Corporate edition of thier antivirus, I think it is called Norton Corporate or Enterprise and can be found on ... But, with pirated software, you always stand a chance of that program having viruses itself. So be careful. If you want to do it the legit way, you can do like I do on my netbooks, since any antivirus slows them down drastically, I only use free versions of these programs to remove anything that they might get or just to do weekly maintainence scans... I use Malwarebytes Antimalware, HiJack This and Hitman Pro... all are free... Video cards... Most have hdmi/dvi outs now, even the cheaper ones for under $50 just make sure you check to see if they have hdmi out. All video cards will go higher than the max resolution of any HDTV so resolution won't be a problem, I am using a 42" HDTV as my monitor and it works perfectly...

I sell this model in my store and it is a great card for the price! One good thing I want to point out about this card is the way the cooling fan is built, it is great when you have another card close to it because it has a open cage around the fan rather than just on top of it to allow for more airflow... If u have a 64MB card and you are going to this, it will be like stepping out of a golf cart and into a Lexus!

I would backup your documents onto a portable drive or thumbdrive and do a fresh load, about 90 percent of the Windows 7 upgrades I have seen come into my store and that I have done myself have ended up having one problem or another.

Try going to ADVANCED in iTunes and if "Home Sharing" is enabled, disable it for now. Also, Open Internet Explorer, Click: TOOLS,INTERNET OPTIONS, CONNECTIONS, LAN SETTINGS and uncheck AUTOMATICALLY DETECT SETTINGS & USE PROXY SERVER... sometimes that hinders it... Also, if your using Windows 7, make sure your internet connection, (NIC CARD) did not get switched to PUBLIC NETWORK instead of either HOME NETWORK or WORK NETWORK...

When u say stream it to your plazma, r u talking about the pc running VLC connected to the plazma? Or is the plazma one with a built in media center player? Maybe I am misunderstanding the ? (Sorry)

It should play those 2 games with ease... One thing I would suggest, I believe that model has the ability to add a second HDD and RAID it in a stripe, the HDD's are the slowest things in laptop and I raided mine and that helped it drastically...But, out of the box, that one should be pretty bad ass! This is just a tweak I am suggesting... Did u order a custom skin for it?

Nice computers guy! I use to do watercooling, tec and even played with liquid nitrogen, but as soon as I would complete a build, my shit was obsolete! LOL! Bought 16gb DDR3 1600 for a build I was doing and literally the next week newegg recieved thier DDR3 2ghz! I was so upset! LOL! I also raided 5 SSD drives and about a month later, the drives on the market doubled in size...

I lived in Orlando for over 25 years... The heat and humidity is nasty... But other than that and everyone is miserable assholes, it is coo... St. Augustine is pretty cool becuase it is on the east coast and has a lot of history. The nice thing about it is that you don't have to drive far to get to something, I moved to a rural area in Tennessee and I wish I hadn't. We moved from FL 4 years ago to escape the back to back hurricanes and had a F4 tornado plow through our house in 2008 in Tennessee... Oh, the police seem to be more tolerant in FL of loud systems. But as anywhere, police there can be dicks if someone pissed in thier cherios. The taxes aren't that bad either... But, houses and land are ungodly expensive... Prepare to take it up the ass if you are looking to buy a home! One thing people don't point out is that there are no seasons in FL, no fall, winter or spring... just summer like weather all year around, dry dead grass, trees green all the the time...

I agree with the last few posts... I would say wire loose to subs... The meter would be best way to tell... Set to ohms and see what u r getting when subs quit playing versus when all are playing... If they are playing, shut off system without moving anything if possible to keep from wires coming loose and read ohms on wires to amp.. Then do same when quit and see if there is a difference... If u are using a 2 channel amp, maybe one of the channels are going out or bad rca to that channel?
