I put them on my Honda Prelude, increased handling alot, but on that car and my buddy's 92 Accord the rear sat noticably lower than the front. We both went with coilovers after that. He went with ground control and koni's and I rocked stocked struts and skunk2 coilovers. Loved both cars ride! -

I'll take the old plexi when you re do it all, I have the same volt meter! But I'm serious I'll take it if you want to get rid of it. Anyway sorry to clutter up the thread. Shit looks loud! -
Buy electrical first! What kinda vehicle? DC Power or Mechman have alts for a lot of applications. Batteries, go with XS which Im hoping to switch too or other brands that are cheaper like Deka Kinetik gets ragged on a lot but I was happy with mine but there still spendy.

What did you put in place of the old cd player? I seen somethin was lit up down there? Tahnks let me know! -
Check your tires, make sure there wearing even. If its 4 wheel drive check the CV shafts, and as mentioned ball joints, and make sure the wheel weights are all there, also check the tie rod ends both inner and outer, not likely but check the wheel bearings. If that doesnt work make sure your wheel isnt bent. I had a shaking problem from 60-65 and I replaced all 4 tire rod ends, wheel bearings, ball joints, etc. turns out the wheel was very slightly bent.

They aint bad, make sure when you drink them your at the place your staying at, cuz all my friends that drink them black out on and off and so do I. My favorite is the grape and fruit punch but a lot of ppl here like watermelon too. I dont think they taste bad, but those are my night caps when I'm already fucked up lol.

That's a possibility, I never thought of that. That makes sense with 80 plus pound motor though. Rusty your guys phone line is ridiculously hard to get through, its always a busy signal lol! But if someone could give me a PM on prices of a new basket and two dual 2 ohm recones with carbon fiber dust caps with black DC stickers on the dust caps that'd be great. I never got a call from dwright or if I did its cuz I have bad cell service until I go about 5 miles from here, otherwise its always one bar or sometimes roaming. Thanks, Dan

It's not like a big bump. I mean you feel it but your not like it should wreck stuff. I had to hit it everyday in my prelude that was lowered 4+ inches with a system that was big for that car, never had problems. Plus it was only one sub that broke the other one is perfectly fine I checked out every centimeter of it, to make sure. Thanks for everyone's responses

I can post pics after work. That's what I was wondering is how the basket. Honestly I was playing them hit a bump on my way home, which I hit every day.. and the subs got quiet and it sounded like I hit somethin. Then I could hear dowels rolling around so I started taking the subs out when I got home and that's what I found. I'm not sayin its DC's fault or Applejack's (who I bought them from) I just wanna know how much its gonna cost me to fix

I had a rough weekend, anyway some how this weekend the basket broke on one of my 18s, not sure what happened or why it happened but I need a new basket and a new recone. My questions are.. Is there anyone in Minnesota that could help me with a recone? I've never done one and its got me a little scared. Also should I buy 2 recones? One for the good sub and just change both of them at the same time? After I bought them on the multi meter one sub read 1.5 and 1.4 the other sub read 1.8 on both coils. the one that broke was the brand new one ( 1.8 ) and the good one is a recone. I'm just trying to figure out what too do. I had them wired to supposedly .5 ohm cuz I thought they were dual 2 ohm woofers. I called dwright yesterday but havent got a response. Thanks alot

10 runs of 1/0
Dan2427 replied to flashlight_65's topic in General Audio - Can't find a category for your question? Ask here.
I have 4 runs of knu 1/0, not the flexible stuff. but I dont have mine covered up just zip tied to the frame. no problems yet and its been that way since October. It looked fine last time I was under there, I check the zip ties out every time its parked inside to make sure none broke and they are rubbing on anything. -

PM Decaf or BCPballer or another guy who designs boxes, there all over if you look in there signatures I just cant think of anymore off the top of my head. You will have to pay but they do it all figure out displacement for woofers bracing, etc. And its pretty cheap.

Camber doesnt mess with your tires as much as toe does just make sure after you lower it, you get an alignment ASAP. And get a printout of what they did make sure your toe is within spec. I live in MN so I need to raise and lower for the weather, I never had tire wear problems with decent tires either. Just rotate them when you change oil. I think you'll be ok with that much of a drop without a camber kit.
