  1. Thats the more sane side of the state The northern part is great, down here though...It's scary...lol
  2. http://www.wsaz.com/..._155486545.html I'm glad I live across the border...kinda. P.S. no offense to WV natives, this isn't a crack at you guys, it's just ridiculous how stupid some people can be...
  3. Need to get a set of headphones/earbuds for my live rig for PFL monitoring. Just looking for something temporary that I can get for the time being until I can buy some pro-grade IEM's. Anyone have some suggestions that are cheap?
  4. I wish I could drop the speakers and amp panel from my EV live sound speakers in my truck But some would probably say 1kw per door would be overkill...meh. I LOVE the sound of EV's though.
  5. I'd say somewhere between 1Hz - 20kHz But in all seriousness, it also depends on the subs. I had 12's that sounded good at 31-34Hz, and running 8's that sound just as good if not better at 36-38Hz. For 10's, mid 30's should be the sweet spot.
  6. Looking to buy one or two fold up canopies for my DJ business, where would you guys recommend buying from and what should I look for? If they make them, i may buy bigger ones to stick up on the stages when needed.
  7. I'm running the sound system for two coming up (already did one) here in Kentucky, so I'll be out there with you all. One in Morehead, KY on Friday (6/1) and in Louisa two weeks following (6/15), it's a great cause and always a friendly crowd.
  8. Nice, but are they going to be super bright LED's or just enough to notice but not blind you? Just curious. I'd love to get one but I don't know where to put it
  9. If you're really tight on budget as far as power is concerned, I recommend the APSM series. As much as everyone hates Audiopipe, I'm running two 1500's in my truck (conservatively 'till I get electrical straightened out), was running one at 0.5 ohms for a while with little issues (did overheat on a really hot day but you have to really beat on it), but for the price they're great 'till you can afford Sundown, Skar, RF, etc. Subs...I'd do two SA-8's in a T-line with that much room Just to see the looks on people's faces. But that's my opinion. DC, SA, Skar, all great subs for the price. Or if you can land a set of used AQ's, they aren't as great as DC's or SA's, but they are good for the price.
  10. Nobody? Well, I guess if it breaks, I can blame you assholes for no criticism. Just kidding. But seriously, if anyone has suggestions, there's not going to be a whole lot of weight on stage (most would be a typical guitar stack on a 4x4 section, that would be about it). I'm hopefully going to do a test build of it tomorrow, hopefully the section will come out right.
  11. Congrats buddy! Hope all goes well. Family first, car second. (wellll.......I kid )
  12. Just for an idea of what the final design (I'm hoping) is going to look similar to... Thoughts? It's not going to be perfect (limited to level areas only) but most places will be in flat grassy/level areas hopefully. If not, I could probably just take some pieces of wood.
  13. Playing around in Sketchup for a modular stage design for my business. 4x8 sheets of plywood, carpeted, pieces of 2x4 used as frame, legs fold in when not in use. Thinking about how to join sections together, like using long bolts or something. This is the fixed design. You can see where the 17.25" legs fold in, plus an idea for how to cut notches on the legs to make the platform more stable. Trying to find out if they make brackets that can hold the legs at vertical, or how I would accomplish that (more bolts maybe?) Just trying to play with ideas. Suggestions appreciated.
  14. Personally I don't like a whole lot about the 63-80hz range, but that's just me. Subwoofers are meant to play lower frequencies at most times, but it's all in personal preference. Some people like a nice ass massage
  15. 40 minutes 'till launch (countdown on screen is fucked up), nice to watch if you have nothing better to do at 3AM http://www.spacex.com/webcast/ Or the more exciting NASA video stream http://www.nasa.gov/externalflash/spacex/index.html
  16. I LOVE loud music, but at the same time I love going up on a ridge, shutting the truck off, & just enjoying the peace (aside from the interstate..lol)
  17. Dude, you posted three different topics on the same fucking thing...I was going to help you, but you're impatient & can't read the rules obviously.
  18. Why not just buy a customized souped up 2012 GT500? Or a jacked high up 3500 dually? Oh wait, you aren't trying to show off just kidding. I'm not a major foreign guy personally, so I can't help you there. Just make sure whatever you get runs & can have an awesome stereo in it.
  19. I think it's either double width or double length of the port IIRC.
  20. Some videos on Facebook of the last band. Great group of guys. Turn The Page https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10151756132950512 Feel Like Makin' Love https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10151754311560512 Sharp Dressed Man https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10151756225030512 Should be able to see them without an issue.
  21. It's not pretty, but here are a few pictures from the Relay For Life event here. I'm highly satisfied with the Presonus board & the EV speakers. Aside from it being very hot at the start of the day, it was great. Sounded clean and loud, the two neighboring baseball/softball fields opted to have the national anthem with my system. I'm very happy with this setup. The board
