    Please don't hook it up without an isolator or even at all because replacing your front battery is something you would do later anyway so just do it now.

    Most people use it because it's relatively cheap, and durable birtch is better but more expensive and alot less fun to work with.

    Used i'd go for an s10 or sonoma can be found reasonbly cheap.

    Yeah if it's not the same type of battery you normally want to use an isolator and i always run a positive fused lead front to back then ground to the frame in the back but you can run it from the front or do both. Just make sure you charge up your second battery before you install it.
