    OOWWWWW!!!! After nearly a year I got around to playing my guitars again. Talk about pain,I forgot how it felt not to have calluses lol.

      LOL. Before I started playing I used to laugh at people who would complain about it. Learned real fast it hurts and if you stop for awhile. You start all over lol. You learning on electric or acoustic?

      a little of both, acoustic seems worse for me for some reason

      Stiffer strings and it takes more pressure to press the strings properly. Hope it goes well for you.
