I have an 06 g6. Another option is taking out 6 bolts behind the back seats (takes 5mins) and then you can slide in a 38in wide box no problem. Heigh is limited at first but a little grinding makes it a nice fit. Just a suggestion, then from there you could seal off trunk easily and get about as loud as its going to.

Do you think a little bit of alpha damp in above the headliner would help stop the (moon/sun or w/e weird ass roof the g6 has) from shaking so much? Or maybe just some regular damp would help? Going to order some damp pro to replace the cheap stuff I have now and was wondering if the alpha would help more for the roof because I need to get that in check before I add more power.

Might have to try that, but I dont see that being too much if at all louder than the 3 10s now. I messed around with sketchup and I think the 15 idea wont work due to the motors wouldn't fit in at the angle needed

The 6 10s idea was probably a little much but I dont see why the 15s angled wouldnt fit

So the 45 angle wouldn't work for the 10s? What about the 15" idea? Im just trying to get as much cone area as possible....cant blame someone for dreaming big lol if box slides in 13.5h 39.5w 26d if part of it were built in the car I could have 16.5h

I was thinking about buying some 1000-1500rms 15"s (2) and attempting to seal them off from the trunk. The enclosure would have to a significant angle ( prolly between 45-65) because it has to be no taller than 13.5 Would having this much of an angle and then sealing it forward be a waste? I figure if it would work I would get more air movement and probably a little louder than the 3 10"s are. I also was considering trading the aqs for something a little less power hungy, and getting 6 10" and sealing it forward ( 2 rows of 3 each at 45* so it would be similar to a clam i guess?) Would that idea work? It works in theory but idk. Thanks for helping.

I could possibly go. I got 3 hdc3 10"s in a uglyyy temp box on 2 1200d until i get some time off from college to build a final box and seal off the trunk and get a 3000+ amp. If I went do you guys think I could compete in anything with my ugly temp setup? Or could I possibly get it metered? I would go for that just to see what Im at now
