I know the feeling, when I was building my PC i'd get one part and be like."YES!" But as soon as the awesomeness wore off it was like."fuck....still 5 more parts to go." But till then, I got a monster phone book weight. I'll basically have my box built, and all of my electrical done by the time I actually get the amp. So it'll be the last piece of the puzzle kinda thing.

Mine should be a bit faster considering the sub is already made, just gotta wait on my MO to get to him, and it should be shipped same day. It's gonna kill me having this monster in my house and not being able to power it for atleast it another month or two. :ehh:

2004 was funnier. These newer cars seem to like to have hidden fuse boxes. See if you can't locate one of these. When I was replacing my HU, I forgot to unhook the neg on my battery and after I cut my first wire I heard a pop, didn't think too much about it, and when I was finished with it it wouldn't turn on. And to boot, the car wouldn't start! Dunno what fuse it blew but I spent like 45 minutes trying to find the hiding fuse box, but, the intrawebs will help find it faster. After I replaced a 20 amp fuse it was all good.

Dunno about subs, but you could get the aq1200d from AudioQue for $250 and that would leave more room to play with the subs

Seems like the most realistice idea, aside from making a smaller port that would fit securely inside the current port. Which would take much more work.

LoL After reading this I got to talk about the EC. I make EC Jello Shots every year for most major holidays (That call for a good party of sorts). I've only used Strawberry, Lime, and Orange Jello, but everytime it's awesome. Roughly, I mix a whole fifth of EC to 6 boxes of Jello. Normally I split it up and do 3 boxes of one flavor, and 3 boxes of another. Regardless of flavor, the gelatin almost completely kills the taste of that dreadful alcohol (being the chef, I take a shot before hand if i'm feeling brave, but not one of my favorite methods. ) I know this thread is kinda old, but anyone looking for a new way to drink EC try it out, you won't be disappointed. 20 Shots and you won't remember how to hold your dick to pee. EDIT: Didn't really explain it all the way. Basically. Follow the recipe for jello, but when it calls for cold water, add 1 1/2 cups of EC per 3 boxes of Jello mix (the smaller boxes) DISCLAIMER!: Drink Responsibly.

Wondering what i'd be looking to pay for a Level 4 15 inch sub? I called my local dealer and left a message a few days ago and haven't gotten a response yet, got advice I could post here and maybe get some help. Anyone? I'd also be interested in the pricing on a Level 5 18in. I either plan to go with 2x 15 level 4's or 1x 18in level 5

I'm having a difficult time explaining it in a way that makes since, but, the fact that the car is moving doesn't matter. Everything in the vehicle that is accelerating is ONLY relative to the inside of the vehicle. Inside the vehicle the speed of sound is still 768 miles per hour. You aren't leaving the sound waves behind because the car is accelerating, because EVERYTHING in the car is accelerating, not just the mass of the vehicle itself, but sound waves included. Hope that makes since. It might be a power issue.
