i think he means he has perks from college where he can get a free copy of the os. i used to be a computer science major and they sent me an link through email that took me to a microsoft site with many programs to download for free, and operating systems were also on there.

thanks david. here are some pics. ***KEEP IN MIND these are unfinished pics*** I dont have my processor or ram in there yet, and i havent done any cable management yet. i just tured the power on for the pics. also, that video card in there is my buddies 8800gts. hes letting me use it until i get the money for a gtx 280, which will only be a week or two.

yup. triple channel ram at 1600 mhz, core i7 at about 3.8 ghz and other goodies = one helluva comp.

i bet that thing sounds better than my 880prs

my buddy has that same top and its a powerhouse. you can game on it pretty well. the downside to it is the battery lasts about 45 mins and the laptop is real thick.
