  1. 2-3k @ 2 ohms is going to get expensive fast. Aq and dc both are examples that would take .5 ohm daily, but that's gonna rape your electrical. Check for some kicker amps if you want to run at 2 ohms.
  2. Its losing tons of pressure...yes it will make a difference. A leaky box is not a happy box. You lose pressure everywhere in the box Next time, use more glue. I gob the shit on and cant even use 1/4 a bottle for a 'regular' ported box. Enough glue and you dont have to use anthing else.
  3. Theres no way to tell where your rise will be... unless you get a clamp meter and calculate it yourself. Rise changes with every frequency Exactly.
  4. Theres no way to tell where your rise will be...
  5. Sounds like you're wired wrong tbh. With an XS D5100 on a T1000.1bd @ .7 ohms I drop to high to mid 12s. So no voltage drop with just a 3400...idk about that.
  6. Im @ 2.5 cubes on my lvl 5 12". Its much louder than the 1.6 CF box I made later to test. Both around 19 cubes of port per.
  7. Racist against fats I see. Kids can be cruel. Its the truth sadly. Everyone gets picked on at some point in school, its just the point you stand on. Get on the bus and raise hell with the bus driver about your sister getting picked on on the bus and it will stop, bus driver will make sure of that. Had a buddy who apparently got picked on on the bus and he couldnt hit back because he was already in trouble. Next day his dad got on the bus and told the driver if his son gets picked on one more time he'd pull his fat ass off the bus and beat the fuck out of him...kid never had a problem on the bus again.
  8. For 'average' work, craftsman or skil will do just fine. If you use it more than the average user, id go for a nicer used dewalt/bosch. You can find badass deals on craigslist for nice table saws. Nicer used > cheaper new.
  9. Well until next year as Rays hinting. Then maybe it will be time for the B wall extension to hit that 140 P&P. Lol Just fucking crazy dude.
  10. I think n8s is a 4dr...can't remember. IMO, half walls FTL. Full wall with a second sub IMO. 99% of the time a full wall will be much louder.
  11. ^^ HUGE cargo space. Lets only shove two 8s in there, that should do the trick.
  12. Very cool side/side testing. Real tuning > DMM tuning.
  13. You are selling product X. Your profit is Y. X increases which directly causes Y to decrease. 99.99999% of companies prices increased this last year by a good margin. Are you gonna be the one "cool" guy that doesn't increase X because you care more about the customer, although Y is hurting quite a bit? Yeah, I'm sure you'd take the consumers side...
  14. I'm not a screen shot noob! I don't have Internet at my house! Plus it's way easier to just take a pic with my iPhone and upload it to photobucket. But I do know how to take a screen shot. or that statement is . Pics or shens.
  15. Yeah, I remember everyone bitching about that now.
  16. Ported Clamshell. Edit: Another helpful link. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/92615-ported-clamshell-helpbuild/
  17. From my understanding, correct me if I'm wrong, Isobaric enclosures are used when you don't have a lot of room to work with. For instance, in a single cab pick up, if you wanted to have a 18" in there, you obviously wouldn't have enough room for the enclosure. So you build a box 1/2 the size and make it isobaric, as to get the equivilent output of 1 18 with full box volume. Thats basically the way I understood them when I first read about them.
  18. I would imagine this would come from experience as i've had no experience with these types of boxes. Im not sure on their efficiency over a regular flat wall/ported box. Heres some reading material if interested to help: http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxes2.asp
  19. Box design? Mic placement? Sounded like it was tuned higher than shit. Still, for such low power, not too bad.
