Yeah I am new to DC and have been trying to figure out exactly what imma run in my trunk and Ive been asing alot of quotes from Rusty and he replies to all of my question really fast! Ive been blown away with his customer service and Im not even officialy a customer yet and he has me more than sold on DC by his above and beyond customer service! Ill be ordering about febuary!

Im pretty sure I wont be able to order by the end of group buy buy I still want to run XS batteries. I have a 1982 chevy caprice with the small block 400 in it. I am going to be running one AP3k amp and 1 DC lvl4 18" to start with for my build after the 1st of the year, my question is waht battery would be good for up front? I was thinking 2 D1200s would be ok on my amp to start but I had no clue about what battery for my front id need. Thanks for your help and either way I will be ordering from you soon , David

I use Fruity Loops, Reason, and Pro Tools, and yes Fruity Loops is the easiest to learn and use if you dont have any prior producing experiance, Ive been doing it for years and learned on fruity loops. I produce local music here in Colorado and in Nor Cal for a couple underground artists there. I like makin LOW bass tracks for my trunk, I can't wait to get my DC lvl4 18 in about a month and make some killer low low bass lines

Damn I want one but I dont have the cash at the moment, I hope I can get it up tho cause thats a great deal, one of them would be great in my caprice its a big car and hard to make loud, well harder to make loud than my last car. But good luck dude, hopefully ill be gettin one soon!

Ok so Ill just get a vented box for now. Im not too familiar with sundown, and are you talking subs? amps? or both? both are great from them I checked out Sundown Audio, and I liked what I seen and they seem very worth the money, But I would be able to get a Crescendo 3kw, or I guess the new ones come out Dec 20th ish, The 3k thats out of stock is only $549, the Sundown 3500 I believe was %1500ish, not that Im saying it's not worth it, I just won't be able to afford that anytime soon. I know it costs to play but untill my disability checks start coming in Im on a super tight budget. I was very interested in the Nightshade subwoofer tho, are they as beast as they say?

Cool I will check around on classifides just to get a used price range, I seen on the website they said they were back ordered and the price was $549 or something like that. ALso I was wanting to do just that of porting my box through my deck lid to push air into the car so the sound would travel, The deck lid isnt very big and in the trunk under the deck its all metal. SO Im going to have to get a grinder and cut out a big rectangle port in it, with my back injury it's hard to get in there to cut it but I will find away. I just NEED some better kick in my stomatch with my bass you know haha

I want to check them out they sound good, and people on these boards seem to really like them, is it because they do rated power? My caprice is huge, alot bigger than the last car I had and theres no places for air/sound to come from the trunk into the cab of the car so its alot harder to make it loud, But I will start looking for a crechendo, whart are the ones to look for? I want to cut a port in my deck lid to get some sound from the trunk into the car to help louden it, And I plan on building some custom places for 6.5 inch subs inside the car and the front doors but Im more worried about the subs/amps/power upgrades firsts

I think Im going to sell these 2, 15s and get 1 Diamond audio 15 inch D3 for now untill I can get a DC or Fi cause the D3 would hot harder than these 2, 15s, and Amps whats a good amp on the cheaper side (of price, not quality) Ive heard alot about the Crecendos but I know nothing about them

I have 2 lanzar heritage 15 in dual voice coil subs in a sealed box in the trunk of my caprice, its not very loud and i want it louder but i unfortinatly i have no money to upgrade and buy new good DC or Fi subs and a beast amp, im running a pyle 2400 watt chopper series amp, But what I was wondering is will running a vented box give me any help in makeing them a lil louder? Im on a super tight budget cause im waiting on disability to kick in and i cant work but Id like to get a 18inch DC or Fi and a amp that will make it pound, or even 1 or 2 15 inch DC or Fi to start with so if any of you have any good deals please always let me know, anyways sorry to ramble and thanks for the help with the vented vs sealed question

the amp paperwork says "two 4-ohm speakers wired in parallel to a bridged two channel amp will present a 2 ohm mono load to the amp and can cause amp damage" now i didnt wire em bridged tho the right pos. and neg. go to the right sub, and the left pos. and neg. go to the left sub. so is 2ohms to each channel ok and just 2 ohms to a bridged amp will blow it?

I did just that and I found another fuse in the power line on the deck it was hidden way up in the dash, but now I read my amp papers that were in its box and it says you cant wire it "in bridged mono" so that means I need to just wire them back to stereo? The thing shows only single voice coil subs wired to the amp in "bridged mono" and says that itll cause amp damage but my subs are DVC so should I still not keep them wired like that and just wire them back to "stereo" and not use the 2nd voice coil on each? It sounds louder wired like the diagram I posted but if its gonna fry my amp I dont want to do that ya know

I wasnt hooking anything up at the time it was about 3 or 4 days after I re wired the subs that it just didnt turn on when I started my car and it wouldnt turn on and no power to in dash or amp since

yeah I did, before I just had one channel going into one side of each sub, so each sub had one red/black with no wires into

yeah the box says there dual 4ohm I bought em brand new, and yeah there was a box on the yellow that had a fuse and that fuse was good, but as far as another box I cant remember for sure, I will have to run down and pull it back out so I can check

I was just meaning all connected as in the power is all coming from just the 1 car battery, but yeah I have the remote wire from amp to deck so that it turns it off when the decks off, and yeah I checked the fuse in the back of the in dash dvd player and it wasn't blown, no fuses were witch threw me off at first, but if the amp just fried thatd make sense cause Im sure when I re wired it it took it to a too low ohm load to run stable at, this just comes at the worst time I wont have any kind of income to put twards it for awhile unfortinatly

I wired the subs to the crutchfield sub wiring chart for a 2 channel amp for 2 dvc subs, I also have a Orion XTR 450 xtreme power/X-over (thats what it says on the front) that I dont know if it still works my older brother gave it to me awhile back, I might hook that up to see if it works at all still, and then go from there, I figured I overloaded it, I had a Kole audio 1920watt amp and 2 image dynamic 15s in the car I had before this one and they were real loud this set up cant even compair to that one I miss it, I hit a 127 with them, I want to get that amp again cause it was a beast but I dont know Im on a harsh budget waiting on disability to come thru so I cant really do much at the minute unfortanitly. Nope it doesnt turn on at all, I was thinking the amp probably fried just cause how cheap it was, just didnt know why thatd not let the in dash work but it is all connected so Im not too supprised

Ive checked the in line fuses, amp fuses, in dash dvd fuses, and fuse panel on car fuse and NONE are blown, It just stopped working a couple days ago, I re wired my subs so they would hit harder and they did but it was too much for my car cause when I turned it up past like 20 out of 40 volume it would cut off, so I had to keepem at a lower level, Im REALLY frustrated and about to breal somethhing cause Ive checked everything I can think of and still NO closer to having it working PLEASE HELP ME, thank you! oh the car is a 1983 chevy caprice 4 door, 0 gauge monster cable wiring kit, 2400 watt plye chopper series amp, jensen in dash dvd i believe 400 watt out put, and 2 lanzar heritage 15s, (and I know I know cheap amp and subs but they were working suppringly well for the couple hundred I spent on em till my disability comes thru so I can start saving up for my FI 18s!!) So ANY help would be GREATLY appriciated!!
