  1. You also don't need the biggest they sell it is good though for future upgrades but you can get by with just enough amperage for what you have. That can save money too. Just tell them what you have to work with and they will tell you what you options are or if you will need to add a battery or what.
  2. Sup man see you around!!!!!!!

  3. $200 0_0 thats a little steeper then what I want to pay, thats half way to a ho alt , then they would be fully charged anyways I hear you I have this http://www.autozone.com/autozone/accessories/Schumacher-75-20-10-2-Amps-speed-charge-automatic-battery-charger-engine-starter/_/N-2604?itemIdentifier=58755&_requestid=3439689 Does a good job has AGM setting and automatic float charges when done so if you forget or leave the house you wont mess them up. And even if when the day comes you get your HO Alt you should still throw them on a charger every here and there.
  4. Shit always happens at the wrong times, I hope its something small.
  5. I had a bad alt a few times but even with a DMM I still saw 13.8v at battery terminals. The best thing to do is pop it off and get it tested at advance or autozone. I was told that if I had kept on using it like that I could F up my batteries and other things. So its good to catch that as soon as possible, might not be that but cover all your bases.
  6. I'm not the sharpest tool but maybe you can check the alternator.
  7. Where you guys get that calculator? Sorry
  8. look into the newer XSpower intellicharger 12v model around $200 ask Corona_Jeff
  9. with as much as you have spent get this to set gain on amp http://www.testextra.com/tpi/pages/tpi_440_1mhz_handheld_oscilloscope_true_rms_dmm.htm and watch these http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQDEkxD8ed8&feature=relmfu Best advice I have learned from.
  10. maybe your draining the batteries quicker than the alternator can keep up with?
  11. Everywhere I went thats the first thing they went at with a little black box that straddled glass. You most likely wont have issues good luck.
  12. I'm with you on the weirdness I been thinking about that though because I had 5% on my hatchback and had to peel it off the door windows to pass inspection. I can redo it but I don't want to keep doing that.
  13. 5% rear and 20% the sides maybe?
  14. Thanks guys I will take all your advice to heart. I'm off for the next two days. May03LT he probably wanted to hear money flapping to help out :/
  15. My car doesn't have RPM gauge. But most times at start up its fine, its after a awhile that it starts idling rough. Mechanic that did the belt said a vacuum leak could be the problem also, he had scanner and told me the throttle position sensor I had just replaced was not working at idle so I replaced it and still having this issue I had also replaced throttle position module. He said the mass air sensor was fine. So now I'm looking for a leak. but how exactly do I do that? I don't think blowing cigarette smoke at the lines will do any good lol.
  16. I have thought about the EQ bands as well, Do I turn all the bands full tilt then go about scoping gains that way if anything sounds to harsh I just turn that band down? After finding clipping at headunit. this is my EQ http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6655_Clarion-EQS746.html
  17. how do you check ipod for clipping?
  18. In general tax season has been going on for awhile so I would assume that all companies in general are handling larger amounts of orders, give them time.
  19. I understand Rusty, I also been thinking about the cam and crank shaft sensors being a gremlin. But regardless The timing belt is getting done. The man I spoke to said something like at that many miles the timing belt is stretched out to much already.
  20. I did the water pump myself about three months ago. I talked to a co workers husband and he said for me ro get parts and he will do work for $150.
  21. just seeing how I have had the car for 8 years and never did timing belt is pointing at that alot and thankfully it hasn't busted on me. If it's not one thing it's another...
