I was wondering, what you guys do when building a box, do you use the manufactures recommendations as a guide line or just build you own??? I am think of building one myself with 2 of these http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/8020.html in my mk4 golf and they recommend a 4.5 cu. ft box, so I know I would not fit that in the motor LOLZ but would I get away with a smaller box for them??????? thanks and also you guys got me in on the idea for the build

that is why there are fuses and relays in each and every car, jeeps etc. I have seen a battery with both 16v and 12v, this one http://www.kinetikaudio.com/2009/product.asp?C=1&P=KHC16V so you run you 12 volt stuff of 12 volt side for the non audio stuff and the rest of the 16 volts side, I could be wrong open to correction
