THE MAN IS HOME................. I just heard another horrible trip today. My Father's co-worker went to Hawaii last week. Well if none of you are aware Aloha airlines shut down and there is still a bunch of tickets out there. Well certan airlines are honoring them but, you have to travel at there convenience. Well the co-worker (who is a Cali resident) flew out of Oakland, to Osaka Japan and then back to Hawaii, to get there. Then upon return he flew from Hawaii to Chicago and then back to California. Man talk about double tracking. anyways just wanted to share. LOCK THIS THREAD......

Its gonna be a lot louder in the backseat of course. The box looks solid bro. Not bad for someone starting off. You definately could do some tricks to get it louder but, the bottom line its hard to get all the junk in the trunk to come forward and hit like a hatch or SUV type vehicle.

So if the equipment in your sig is what your gonna run then that should work out fine. Not sure how your gonna charge an 18 volt set up in a civic but, if there is will there is a way. If you keep the build behind the "B" pillar you'll stay in Super Street. If your box and equipment all sits below the doors window line then you'll be in Super Street No Wall. If you go above then you'll be in Super Street 1-2. OH and in front of the "B" pillar has to remain stock/oem. That means door panels (mods ok) carpet, headliner and dash must reamain. The seats may be removed at the shows but, must show that they can still go back in. Not to mention the car has to drive in and out of the lanes. We've been doing this for a while and we're still learning. Its not for everyone. A lot of people think its a waste of equipment and a bunch of noise. Until you start getting technical then you turn into a Car Audio Geek (you know who you are). But I think if your car audio enthusiasts and want to hang out with some others who share in the same passion, then come on out and check out a show. I know we go out to have a good time and play our stereos.

What a win win win situation. You get to cruise around in a cool truck. You get to demo and promote your product. You get to compete and get points in your class. The best part you get to hang out with us. plus you get to write it all off

October 11 and 12. There is a thread in the cometitors section with a link. I don't know what I'm more excited about, competing or partying. Last year finals was our first and to some it wasn't as grand as single location finals. but it was our first and we had a great time. It was here in the bay area so it was easy for us. Laughlin isn't to bad, wish it was in Vegas but, oh well.

well you don't make aero ports you have to purchase them. 4 probably wouldn't hurt but, thats normally used for SPL. I use 4 4" aero/flared ports for my 2 15's. its tuned in around 33hz. With your box size though I'd put 2 4's in and go from there. It should definately change your sound. just center them on the port side of the box. I would just put another piece over the whole port side and cut our the wholes for the two ports. that of course is my box. You can hardly see the ports. the black plate covers another set of ports. The four are short tuned it up to about 45hz with all 8 I was up to about 74hz. both high but for burping not uncommon, especially in a truck.

Happy B-Day Danny. You've got some great homies. The friendships you help make possible has bonded together so tightly over these years. Monday I got a call that one of good friends from High School little brother pasted away. Edward Canales was 22, he crashed his car one week ago tonight on base at Camp Pendleton. Tuesday my Girlfriend's sister gave birth to hir third child, Maile Ceane Rigala. Then, tonight another friend of mine had his first born, Petra Grace Madrigal. So I hope to raise some spirits after reading that. I got boose bumps reading this thread.

Well that ain't too bad. At least he was focused and had a goal not just randomly shooting people. Like at Virginia Tech. He could of gotten jumped on the way to school.
