I would except the box is only 7x7x10 haha. I have a Hifonics Brutus 10 in a box that I wanted to hook up to my computer but i have no idea how that would work haha.

The only ratings I have been able to find as far as power goes is that the sub is 17 watts rms haha.

So I had this brilliant idea yesterday to build a box for my computer sub. I have tons of 3/4 and 5/8 MDF lying around so I picked up a piece and started cutting. I cut all the pieces in about 10 minutes and then started to put it all together. If you think it is a stupid idea then that is okay because it kind of is haha. I was just bored and I like to build things so I did it. All of the pieces Coming along Wow is that thing 20 cubes?!? No more like .1 AudioControl Epicenter? No way, this thing is wayyy better. The beast. I'm almost finished, going to carpet it today haha. But like I said if you think it is dumb I understand haha. Just thought I would put it on here for fun.

That looks really good my dad did the same thing inside of his two door tahoe just with a different kind of camo. Looks sweet though nice job.

It is a great idea as long as you realize how much money you need, Rusty told me he put a bunch of money into DC, I know a liquor store isn't anything like an audio company, just saying you need money haha. Good luck if you decide to try it though. reason for edit: don't know if he wants people knowing about his finances...

Damn that is really nice, it should be loud. Do you know what he had before because it was loud then. Also you should put a pic up of his ride because that thing is fresh.

Nice man sounds good, you can get an eclipse pretty loud pretty easily, a friend of mine has two 10" Xplods that he paid $25 for both of them and they sound really loud in the tiny thing.

YAh i know that is why I thought it may be wider and yah I agree my box that was 36 deep hit lows really well like 23 HZ was crazy but music sounded like shit. and my hatch window is at 17 and my seat is at 20 but also new explorers may have higher windows i have no idea haha.

Well I don't know if the new body style explorer are any wider but no my old box was 36 deep and it fit and as far as window line that is 17".

There is a guy here in reno with 4 12" SXs in an explorer and i dont know the exact dimensions of the box but i know it is loud and if i had to guess id say 42 wide 36 deep 20 high.

Yah it is the box is 17" high. And I am not building another box until I purchase my DCs and even then who knows. I still need an amp pushing over 1000 RMS haha. I am at 144.3 with my amp right now who knows if I actually had the 2000 RMS they need. Edit: TL on the windshield passenger side legal all sealed up.

Yep the Bronco II is right behind the Ford Festiva on the horrible cars list haha, but that is a sweet opportunity hope it turns out well.

I like all of the replies after I finished the box haha, I ended up building another box anyways, double top and what not, 9 cubes tuned to 42 hz, only took 3 hours. It came out very nice too, puts up good numbers.

So if AQ hasn't came out with that option yet that means they can't handle 3500 Daily.. And if they are like Fi and have the coil as an option it will cost more. The AQ may be louder and that makes sense to me, they cost more. He wanted to know about an inexpensive, loud 15, T5 is cheaper so I was just telling him haha. But anyways if he wants to go with a more inexpensive set up then I am sure the fact that it can supposedly handle 3500 daily when this new coil comes out isn't going to matter to him because an amp that pushes out that much power won't be very cheap. Either way, it is ultimately his choice. I can't support Soundstream to much considering I am buying some DC LVL415D2s in about a week haha, I tried though.

I am guessing none of the subs listed can handle that much daily.

I wouldn't say the AQ would be loudest as far as budget goes because 2 of the 12" HDC3s is $538, I assume the 15's are more since they are heavier so shipping is more. A pair of T5s shipped is $469.99. My entire system including wiring, my batcap, my box and my amp cost $900, and I am in the mid 140s with only half the rms being pushed to them. Go with Soundstream.

Hmm, a friend of mine has one 12" SX in an MTX SledgeHammer enclosure off a Hifonics amp puishing 1000 RMS and he is high 130's, this is in an extended cab 2001 Chevy Silverado, so you could get into the 130's. Edit: But I also have a friend with two 12" JL W3V2's off a JL 1000/1 and he only hits 131, so you will just have to wait and see.

Do you have a regular cab, extended cab or 4-door?

Well I love my Infinitys and they keep up with my subs and they aren't even powered by an amp!

Mine in a pre-fab did 141.2 at 46HZ haha, sorry, had to out do you. I don't know the price of the AP so they may be a better deal.

I am running two of the T5 15's with a Power Acoustik amp that is supposed to put out 1080RMS but it puts out around 900.

A question though, what will these subs be going into?
