This X 10 Also, check out my box build. I used 3 coats of resin inside the box, then I sanded it all baby butt smooth. May have helped, mat not. But I believe it did. Also, DON"T use bondo brand resin!!! Go to Lows or Home Depot and get some bettter stuff for the same price or cheaper. The biggest difference I noticed was the bondo took two days to fully cure. The good stuff(3M from Lows) took two hours. Thank you.guys both. For Your replies. Purple, did you use Fb mat as well or just resin? And about adding another layer of mat and resin. Ah thank you skittles for helping me. I know I'm wrong about the Fb taking up tht much volume. Maybe it 0.015 ... I know someone from here pointed tht out.... dang I can't remember. But Tomoro ill slop some resin on the cured mats. And I was going to use silicone and then fiberglass over top. But I googled tht and some people said silicone might act up when in contact with resin... Idk really.... Well I know you, skittles, is far more experienced and knowledgeable than me, what's your take on the next steps. I can't silicone now since I layer it all out. Ha

Ah to me is a indicator of how good a batt will perform in an application but ca or cca should be double or triple the max Amps you are pulling I view having a large ah with one or multiple batts a necessity when dealing with car audio.

That will save a lot of space and won't impact a lot on performance If you are running 4k or equivalent to. Why not one btl n2 and a sturdy box with all the good stuff tuned to ur liking?

I tried my best to line everything together but a wall isn't as easy as it seemed at first haha. Way different from a box in the trunk to me. It's pretty airtight and sturdy but for the added confidence. I did Fb resin > mat > Fb resin every corner and seam. But from what everyone is saying, I should add another layer... I know or from what I heard a layer of fiberglass subtracts 0.15 cu.ft. from volume But should I pit down just Fb resin on top of what's in the seams? Or Fb resin and lay down another mat... Pb 4000 is rated at what? And you really don't need many batteries. Just one large one with huge Ah.

Wat's the amp you are goin to use? And if you plan to give or upgrade soon. Go with cooling package. And the dude at walmart is prolly doing 29s in the port.

im running 2 ap3ks on one Gain knob by getting a a mono 3.5mm splitter (female to two male) if the amp uses a phone jack, get a splitter for that. You can usually get them at Radioshack

Thanks man, those are both good options! I'm just wondering what kind of power my DC5K will put out @3 ohm? Cause with these subs, I can wire down to 1.34ohm or up to 3ohms. Hmmm, see I'm really just building this box to help sell the subs, and to make sure I can design and build good enough too. So, if I could save some money, hmmm what to do? Save money and sell your equipment you have now, dont spend it on other stuff but your main build.

How much you looking for? i dont have any to sell but ebay and other sites have them for around 150-200 new but one for used would be cheaper and you can find one probably on this site! look in the for sale section
