Thanks... I was pretty sure that the cross drilling of the rotors was what made them weaker, but could not remember correctly. There is also a simple soulition to get rid of brake dust too that I found. Ceramic pads FTW I think it was about 2 years ago when I just started to get fed up with having to was my car everyday do to brake dust on my blingage and thats when I went out and bought my baer rotors and ceramic pads. I use to have to change out front brake pads every couple months because they wore so thing, and since I put the rotors and ceramic pads on, I havent messed with it yet

I have baer cross drilled and slotted rotors on my sts with 20s. Ive heard that the drilling of rotors makes them a little weaker. but its not like youll be racing a suv with 26s so that shouldnt be a problem. Id say go crossdrilled and slotted if possible for the best cooling, but otherwise if you cant get both in one rotor, go with slotted.

both companies are good, both will do good for gaming. Just dont buy a cheap companies card, you will not get the performance you are looking for.

Not all of them, Im sure if you buy them new, you will get a newer 07 or 08 model if released yet. But I just noticed from the few i had in my posession that some years run a different colored board and a little bit of different setup.

I was going to say under 210 is fine. My caddy runs around 220. Every vehicle will run at different temps. You could see if there is a thermostat that opens up at a colder number then the stock one, and this will keep it running a little cooler..

ditto. both amps will put out close to the same power. The sundown is more efficent, and maybe cheaper in cost, not to mention many people run the sundown at 0.5 ohms daily without a problem, where the rockford cant. I currently have 2 of those rfs but older, they taken a beating and keep on going. Tho Id take two of them sundowns over the rfs just because the power they can do strapped at 1 ohm.

well the one with the green or blue board is dated in 2004, and the red board is a 2006 according to the dates printed on them, and a few different things inside. I also rember that Im pretty sure the green board i have is laid out completly different then the blue board pictured. But they both got funny looking faces in the top left corner of the board.. no idea whats up with that lol.

the main board inside the amp. you should be able to see it with a flash light thru the holes on the top. this one looks blue, and i think i got a green one too, unless its just the flash in this picture making the board look brighter. i dunno. this one is red

Dont want things to be took the wrong way again rusty, but you said the lvl 4 was just a couple tenths behind the dd, did you use the same power for that test as above for both subs? If so do you think that the DD sub would of performed better with more power then what was used and end up being a little louder?

It may, it may not. It all depends how your ports and subs will load. If you cant get them to load properly you will not get the output you wanted.

and if you go with them, just remember THEY ARE NOT FREE!!!!. you will get your credit report and blah blah blah, but if you dont cancel your membership withing the one month period, you will be charged monthly on your credit card or whatever you use to get your free trial. Thats something no one can really answer but you. You will have people here telling you go fi, and other people telling you to go dd. A fully loaded btl is cheaper then a stock Digital Design. Scott at Fi has great customer support I hear. I could of almost bought 2 FI btls for the price of my DD, but I wanted DD. I still wouldnt mind playing with some btls in the future tho.

I kind of got to agree with this, but with other companies. All and all simularities of all things will resemble something else. Me, Im a guy that likes his big ol blinging magnets with shinny beefy slugs. But if you got a small magnet that meets or beats the big ol slugs, why not go for it, your gaining back precious displacement that was otherwise used up. Once its in the box you cant really show the magnet off unless you can see it through the ports or got some plexi windows. Im still waiting to see more companies running neodymium motors on their subs besides DD and Boston (the only 2 I currently know of).
