Im more interested in the motor assembly that they will come up with that will be used with that 12inch spider and the 6inches peak to peak! The Team Sundown woofer looks monstrous and beastly in the photos and that wont even allow the basket/suspension to be used to its fullest so I could only imagine what is going to happen

There is no cooling in the new frames/baskets. Majority of the Sundown woofers have beyond excellent cooling via the back/top plate, pole piece, or a combination of the 3. Also some of the woofers have a vented basket spacer which a lot of the woofers such as pictured below. So basket venting wouldn't really accomplish much imo, but I'm not Jacob or Sundown. I just messed with a lot of their woofers and recones a bit and figured I could give a semi-educated answer.

Made a quack little stand for the passenger side fuse holders In case anyone wondered why the fuse holders are so far apart, its to be able to get at the set screws on the side Since im out of ring terminals I had to reuse some old wire for the chassis ground, and alt power This was the power wire that ran from the battery to the front fuse block in the truck, I cut it off and now run it off the driver side battery So for now wiring under the hood is complete until I get my other 20 ring terminals Hard to take a clear pic at night, but voltage is doing okay

Only 1 ring terminal left, and short a boot so a black one will be placed on the wire for now, just ordered another 20 ring terminals tonight. Found some copper terminals so I figured those can be used for alt grounds The driver side is wired up under the hood, now to start the passenger side

Hung up a work light on the ceiling kob style Trying to come up with an idea for the front fuse holders with some scrap plexi I had laying around So this is what I came up with

backed the truck in a little bit to keep a little warm Then came up with an idea to mount rear fuses Started to wire up the rear Still need to install rear fuses but that wont be done until the front wires are connected, which then I will also tidy up the wires a little bit more New toolmaker front batteries bars next to the old ones

The top plate is shifted, the woofer probably has been dropped and broke the adhesive loose. It can be fixed, ive fixed a few for people already, you need patience and a good shim to shim it out center, which can be a pain since the magnets are magnetized unlike they are upon initial assembly.

Not much of an update from yesterday or today (so far)... It was raining out so I couldnt do much on the vehicle So I decided to clean my tablesaw up, because its been getting dirty Looking a lot better now Got everything placed out to do a little soldering These are the T-Spec 1/0 terminals, 1/4inch hole which fits the 6mm bolts used on XS Power batteries nicely Soldered up 8 jumpers for the rear 5 XS Power D3100s Got all the batteries hooked up to each other, and removed the 2 hammer crimped jumpers Since there looks to be a lot of colder rainy weather coming (mid to high 40s in the day, 30s at night) I cleaned up my "install bay" to at least be able to back the rear of the hoe in to do work on the power wires and than drive it in a couple feet to do work under the hood. Its not much room, but keeps me out of the rain, wind, and cold since the garage has a tiny 220volt electric heater.

Yes sir, I think Metra dropped the Tsunami name all together and is now called T-Spec. I have no idea how the wire is or is not effected if at all. But from the one thing I remember is the old tsunami terminals terminals where made out of a thicker material. Not something you could easily bend with your fingers like some ring terminals out there, and they still seem to be the same way. They also come in 3 different hole sizes depending on your battery stud ( 1/4, 5/16, and 3/8) which is something that is rarely ever done by other companies.

Care package from SonicElectronix Time to get some work and put a microwave in!! 25 fuses for something like $20. Maybe its just me, but I cant tell any difference in a cheap EFX fuse compared to a $14 Streetwire fuse that have the same thickness and width blades and actual fuse.
