Get this clamp!! Im using the sameone, as tommy said, it has peak hold/min, its true rms, and does dc current up to 800amps The other craftsman that was linked to that is red is not the professional line, and is not true rms and does not have peak hold (it just has hold which holds whatever number is on the screen when you push hold). The red craftsman will take 2 people to clamp an alt or amp, the yellow craftsman professional will only take 1 person due to the peak hold functions. Oh and the yellow craftsman professional is also led backlit for those late nights testing in the dark. the cheaper craftsman is sold at most sears for $60ish new, the professional is useually special order and is a $120 clamp.

Gotta give credit where credit is due. Something I dont do so much I guess, but them baskets are fucking SICK!!! Id like a pair of baskets just to hang on the garage walls with all the other audio stuff! Very different design but in a good way, not something thats been seen over and over and over. -

Steve, I work for my friends dad's company installing dust collection systems, The company itself is a retailer for wood working machines. We sell new and used, and as i said do installations of dust collection. Our site is: http://www.johngweber.com Family owned and operated! The site is a bit cluttered, but if you dont see what you need you could always call. Im more then willing to install the collection system for free if you buy it. All I ask for is a couch to sleep on in the shop and a microwave! Lol I got a few pictures of some installs we have done in factories if interested, just pm me Forgot to add, Props on the new pad! -

ALT mod
audiofanaticz replied to Team-Atomic-Andrew's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
Now we got 2 different alternator manufactors (DC Power Engineering, and iraggi), both of who dont see eye to eye and are at stiff competition at with each other. However they both agree on the samething and say DONT DO IT! But yet you do it, not too smart in my opionion and others as well These guys aint just saying this to make a sale, there saying this for you to be safe! Well... with that said... buy a battery charger, and charge your batteries periodacly. It will help your batteries way more then 1 stinking extra volt will. Your stock alt is not "beefy or ruggeg" whichever you said, it is simply STOCK just like every other stock alt, that has a stock Stator and a stock Rectifier, and stock everything else. If your after 15 volts grab yourself a DC Power, most of them seem to charge in that 15-15.4 volt range with no dummy load, external regulator, or mla module. -

No, I do not believe so. I think those years have the CS-144 large case alternators with the 12 and 6 o'clock mounting tabs. No, totally different mounting tabs. Sorry. Pm replied! -

DC Power 270SP For Sale!!
audiofanaticz posted a topic in For Sale: Car audio related equipment only
I am selling my DC Power 270SP Alternator to upgrade to something newer from DC Power Engineering. I received the alternator from DC Power on December 28th, 2009. However I did not install it until a couple weeks later. This thing is almost BRAND NEW and way under 2 months of use! Its a tad dirty due to the fact that it is powder coated white and every spec of dirt will show on white. It should fit most GM vehicles from 1996-2006. The alternator specs are 180amps at idle and 270amps peak. However it is very underrated!!! I have video proof of it doing 203amps at IDLE and over 290amps at 2000 RPM!!! It charges at 15.0volts -- 15.2volts cold, and 14.7volts -- 15.0volts hot. The alternator costs $549 new, plus an additional $30 iirc for powder coating. You can find more info at the DC Power website. Also included is the very sexy cnc machined DC Power under drive pully (I think these are also a extra charge but I am not sure, I just know they run out of stock very quick with them). I am also including a piece of 2/0 welding cable (pure copper, not tinned) that is 6 feet 8 inches long with two 1/0 ring terminals (you will need trim some wire to make the ring terminals fit however). Should be almost enough wire to do the "big 3" or at least a beefy charging wire from your alternator to front battery. This thing is a real beast!!! The best alternator I have ever used so far in my life. I only accept PayPal, and NO TRADES at all! I will ship UPS Ground, the day after the payment is made (same day if received by 3pm central time). I will not ship outside the USA Price is $350.00 + Shipping (ruffly $15-$30 depending on your location) To determine shipping costs goto the UPS website Click on "Detailed time and cost" My zip code is 53083 Box size is 10inches by 10inches by 10inches and 21 pounds Amperage output test video: Pictures: -
This is all for now... :01nocomment8so: PS: Yes 2 cases, 1 for my new pc and 1 for my old.
