Why would they ever make the alpine type R components have open voicecoils? It was snowing the other day and when I opened my door to get in snow was flyin in becuz it was windy. Well I didnt notice that some snow got down onto my alpine components and today I discovered that on one of the speakers the cone was frozen in place!!! So I brought it inside and used a blow drying to melt it and hopefully dry it up. The cone moves down but kinda makes a scratchy noise you moved so far so Im use the air compressor to hopefully clean it out. And hopefully it will still work fine otherwise Im going to be pissed! End of rant

Just say the speakers were bad and pocket them and take them home...... lol
