  1. Okay, so basically I'm strung between buying a single 18" sub, and 4 12" subs. The 12's would be louder, and theyd cost about the same, and I like the way 12's sound, which makes me lean that way, but then again having a single sub being real loud does have a certain wow factor...Both setups would be in real complex boxes, with the 4 12's being in an all fiberglass box...Ported of course...Both setups ran off a t10001bd... I'd probably get a BL if I got an 18, and probably some diamond d3 subs if i went with 4 12's...they look like this: Basically I can't choose, so please vote and let me know why you picked what you picked.
  2. you want to hook up a computer monitor in your car?? Just buy a 8" 12v monitor, youll end up paying just a little more than you would have had to pay for the inverter and all the adaptors
  3. Hmm,,,I would say exhaust brake (or whatever its called), but those are normally on diesels...Maybe I'm right though?
  4. Damn I've had to do some stucco work before and its damn hard work. Looks way good though
  5. Possibly a digital air bag controller for helper bags? Looks about the right size...
  6. Wiring and 6.5's can be done pronto! I'm gonna go do my back doors right now, so get to work!
  7. Set your gains properly.
  8. Probably due to improper cleaning (or not at all) of the surface. That shit shouldnt ever come off. And Dynamat is not overrated at all, just overpriced.
  9. That's because pyramid doesnt put out shit for power, so theyd rather you look at the max power and think damn thats a lot. When in reality its not. BTW wrong section to post this in.
  10. I have an HP pavilion dv1000, and im pretty sure its only got 256 megs of ram. I want to either upgrade it or add another stick if possible...I've done this and some other work to desktops, but I've never opened up a laptop before. Is this pretty straightfoward? And can anyone tell me what kind of ram I have in this thing? I think i recall that theyre are two types although I forget the names. I want to get at least to 512 if not 1024 if it can fit. Thanks guys.
  11. lol nobody chooses the ads...it analyzes the words used in the forum and throws up ads that are related...
  12. You've done some crazy work!! How do you like those LA subs? I've always wanted to get like 6 cheaper 10's and do a fun fiberglass box for them
  13. damn thats a nice tc... i love those chrome power amps too
  14. If youre rebuilding the box, try to flushmount the subs and then cut a trim panel to go over and hide the mounting rings for the subs, so all you see is surround and cone...at least thats what id do.
  15. Looks real nice man! Coulda picked some better subs, but I'm guessing those are sponsored too, and its a show truck so its probably more about looks... Do you have any buildup pics?
  16. dc group buy ftw
  17. bump for a great deal! I'd be all over this if I was still getting a second alt...Someone buy this, it makes no sense to lose the 120 amps of power your stock alt is putting out, just add on another one!
  18. Some 20x9.5 ( i think thats the right width for my car), and probably some 32" tires, nothing crazy but just real aggressive looking is my goal. And yes I would just be leveling the front...Unless you have a different idea?
  19. RF T3K for around 800 from HDA!
  20. btw you can find wiring diagrams online for your car, but please please test them ALL before connecting wires, save yourself a headache. Even though the guys at the shop know every car really well, they still take the time to test the wires.
  21. That's weird our shop USED to carry Viper too...Then they switched to DEI/Scosche...The owner told me he really liked the viper alarms, the only thing about them was the remotes were a little iffy.
  22. Here's the deal on alarms...Anyone can do them...If you've never done one it will take you FOREVER testing wires though. At the shop, even though we do at least one alarm a day, it still a couple hours. And to run the wires in the proper locations, making it look completely stock is also a challenge. But do go for it, it's not too bad.
