  1. Id do 2 12s tuned to 30hz.
  2. Go with the skar, it will kill the lows in a good box. Im pretty sure this thread will also get locked though.
  3. Imo anything above a 140 starts doing damage, but I read somewhere that you can.only go deaf to the bass frequencies you listen to, now if you have a shit ton of highs thats another story.
  4. As the title says, i'm selling two of these gold plated distribution blocks which can be used for power or ground, 1 zero gauge input and two zero gauge outputs. I'm asking 25 shipped for the pair or 20 picked up.
  5. 1 extra battery in the batt should do just fine.
  6. LOL. DO ETTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT ( yelling at you ) I need help doing ettttttt, idk how to tune for DEM LOWWWWWZZZ like you One day young grasshopper , one day you will crush DEM LOWZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ lol. I pray to the gods of bass that that day comes sooooon.

  8. haha I didn't realize you were on here jason, shit looks good, now if only I had a box tuned to 28hz in my car
  9. I don't think you'd drop below mid 13's with that kind of electrical, should hold up just fine.
  10. I've heard from a few people that it's not all that great and that the box isn't built as efficient as it should, theres no loading wall, and apparently the extra two subs in the middle are not needed and if anything are taking away from the rest of the box, if I were him i'd take it to BHE in tampa and let them build a nasty 4th order for it and put up some serious numbers, we all know the equipment is there for high 50's or low 60's
  11. for the record his windshield cracked because he hit a bird, the rest of it well you know how it happened
  12. Yeah I'm really not worried about retuning right now as I doubt I'm.clipping and the subs are already getting more than enough power, when I upgrade in the future ill make sure to tune with a dd-1 though.
  13. Well I guess I need to get these other two batts installed and re tune the amp.
  14. Gain is low and sub level is at 0 I think the amp has rca input issues because when I had it wired to 2 ohm (1700 rms rated) it wasn't giving the subs much power until I cranked the sub level to +7 which then turned the clip light on through any song, wired at .5 1/4 gain, is more than enough power right now if I turn the sub level up to +5 it instantly drops to low 11s. I have 2 more of the 105ah powerware batts that I have yet to install, the subs are conservatively rated at 600rms each. But I keep my eye on them all the time.
  15. 185 amp alt, small batt up front, 105ah powerware batt in the back, gains are very low though, subs are getting hell. Current draw at 1 ohm I believe is 350 amps.
  16. What would you consider acceptable drop? My DC 3.5k is wired to .5 and the lowest I drop is low 13's would you say thats steady enough to keep the amp working good? It hasn't gotten hot at all and has never gone into protect.
  17. classic demo song from you haha I can't wait to hear the new setup in a few months, in your opinion how different do those sound when compared to regular car audio component speakers? i'm thinking of running 8 of those in my car, two in each front door with 1 AQ super tweet in each front door, two more in the middle for rear fill, and 2 more in the hatch area for when i'm playing only highs and I open the hatch.
  18. if you insist on running over 2k, look into crescendo BC3500, if you want to play it safe and full tilt for more than 1 or 2 songs just get a BC2000. probably the best budget amp you can get right now.
  19. I've heard from a few people that you can lose anywhere from .1 db to .3, it doesn't make a difference unless you're serious about competing.
