Holy crap those things are extremely inexpensive...wish you could get an amp to power those as cheap as that sub!!! So I'd imagine a 12 would be in the upper 100 bracket vs. the 200+

My buddy gets mad deals on stuff from work...Circuit city...just bought a denon home theater system with boston acoustic speakers w/sub...paid 220 for the whole 1000 system. Lucky bastard! Paid a little over a grand for a brand new sony 1080p lcd 46". Although everything was open box it still has the warranty not to mention he gets the warranties for next to nothing compared to what we pay...if you need anything you don't have a connection at work to make your "poor college budget system" better?

Any updates or the company manage to leave the package at the warehouse! Only to get you excited for its arrival...just saying hasn't happened to me before!

Just put a kicker cvr 15 in my sisters grand prix with a kenwood 400 watt rms mono amp and it pounds...wish she had an aftermarket radio but oh well...Don't fear only having one sub! Besides the more subs less room like you stated and more vibration and noise not to mention strain on your electrical system...

That's funny but there was a guy in Flint wearing a hub cap full sized 18" or bigger plastic/chrome...man was that stupid...that rf is sweet though!

Actually I'm right...you may want to check your amp as 2x60 amp fuses aren't in it from the factory....2x50 are...LINK I wouldn't say it had it unless it did.... As accorman stated shop around, those prices are absolutely bogus! I don't see why they are bashing your audiobahn amp and repping a rf 300 watt amp? That makes no sense whatsoever! I could easily get you 2 rockford 12" p3's and a p550.2 for less than 900 shipped from the U.S. That is dumb they even gave you that kind of price on that! Try this link That p550.2 wouldn't be enough for both subs but get 2 p550.2 and I can almost guarantee with 2 of those and 2 p3's it'd still be less than what they quoted you! Personally I'd hang onto the amp you have and try out something else...like those p3's or the cvx's like I keep saying...

I've tested quite a few maxxsonics products and have no complaints with any of the stuff. You get what you pay for and personally I'd love to have the cash and all to spend on a rf or other amp but it just isn't logical in certain situations. In my case I'd never spend the money on a rf amp when you could get a hifonics. Don't get me wrong I love the p550.2 I have in my car but I'd never imagine paying the full 500 asking price it has at stores (or had.) I'd much rather buy a hifonics and not think twice. If I were in a situation where I was competing and I had the money I'd buy something better like the rf or sundown which many have...well actually I'd still probably buy like a colossus or something...to each his own though...guess it'd be different once I have a problem though!

He's using that for the 10's in the door though right? Not for the 18's right? How does it separate the signal like that? Must be pretty freaking smart amp...

I forgot that the other t15 is for the mids and highs...that is sick! How many watts are you actually going to pull for the mids and highs again?

I don't have anything to strut around anyways...I still have a small rockford p550.2 but not hooked to anything I sold all the stuff i had. I'm a stay at home dad so I have no use for stuff that people are building on here. I'd love to build something for sound comps but I'll have to wait for that one! You know Sami from dynamic sounds? You ever need anything let me know I get pretty good deals from him in there. I'll probably just put my directed 12 back in the ride although it doesn't do anything but sit...If I keep the jag I'll probably put something in it (components and possibly an 8 or something) but I'm trying to get rid of it as of now... With the 1606 I'm pretty sure you'd be around 1200-1400 rms from what I've read everywhere...

Defqon whatever you do DO NOT GET A KENWOOD AMP! I've had a few now and don't get me wrong they are nice amps they will last you forever but they don't put the power to the sub imo. I had a kac7201 2 channel amp and than put a crunch pzi2250 to the same subs and it beat soooo much harder with that crunch amp and the crunch put out 10 watts rms less. How come you don't want to try the cvx's? If I were you I'd hang onto the audiobahn and try the orion's with that audiobahn...
