did you look into police auctions and Repo auctions? Ive always wanted to do it but never got a chance. Probably this summer. But thats what I would do.

basically, Ive never actually been to one, but I wanted to compete towards the end of this summer, hopefully alotting me time to hit up some of them before I run mine. I spent about an hour reading the rules of the idBL runs and have figured out that I would have to go in as a Stock Pro due to batteries, build style, cone area ( makes me class 2) etc. But I wanted to know from some of the vets about what to expect. The numbers, the kind of cars, and what kinda had me concerned was the fact that pickups are allowed. Any feedback from you guys would be really appreciated.

man, Ive always been the odd man out. Back in the day, (5 years ago) I was the only guy out of my friends that was into car audio....or even cars in general. But I really didnt care. The more you care about it, you'll find the people who share the same interests. I say screw them if your not around. You got shit to do, period. If there good friends, they'll understand.

I could swear its straight up the weather. A couple days ago, it dropped a good 20-30 degrees in one night in some parts of the country. One day it felt cool goin out in a sweatshirt, the next day Im still freezing with my coat on. I got a migraine in the middle of classes on wed. I had 1 1/2 classes to go that day too. yeah I just took a look at those. But they say they should take 1 g too with a peak of 2. its okay to put them to 1600? dependng on prices it looks like its gonna be DCs or FIs. I kinda wanted FIs just because I know no one near me knows who FI is....then again, no one knows DC either. we got a bunch of busted P1 and P2 installs up here done by the local shop. (no offense to P1 or P2 owners) They tend to turn the gains all the way up. It was great when I had my glassed rear deck in with the memphis comps screamin, just with 2 of em I was gettin looks already....but that just makes me sound arrogant.

O ok yeah I didnt see before that it could be bridged to 3200 @ 2ohms so that would be 1600 RMS per......bare with my ignorance cuz Im kinda new to competition and more powerful drivers, but the RMS on a 15" BL is only 1000...or can they successfully take more power? I noticed the little asterick next to the RMS on FI's website but never found what it was there for. thanks for all the input.

I think you guys are definitely changing my decision to 2 15s. And Nismo thank you fo trying to save me money. powermasters? just out of curiousity, are the better than kinetiks? and how many/ which ones would I need If I wanted enough for the Zeuses and Thor and an upgrade up front?

damn man this really sucks. I think we can all relate to equipment not coming when we expect it. like me, I always track everything religiously, and for some reason, every time its shipped Fed Ex they always are a day or two (or three) late. doesn make sense. But Ive been following your posts and its gettin me concerned about ordering mine in the near future. Im not 100% concerned on when I get it, but more that if something goes wrong and I have to get in touch with him. anyway, I hope everything turns out alright for ya man.

alright I think Ive finally decided on most of what my system will consist of what you guys think of this setup: 2 Zeus ZXi 4406s (already have) 3 Brutus BXi2006s 3 Fi 12" BLs (daily driver option with cooling if option allows) 4 pairs Memphis PRSC6s (already have) 2 Kinetik HC2400s 1 Kinetik HC1400 (up front) 1 Iraggi 200 amp HO alternator 80,000 miles of wiring.... I want the daily drivers cuz this will be a daily driver/ comp car till I get a beater. Subs will have ports facing the rear deck and a blow through with a good 50% cut out of the deck....I want to join the groundpounders. lemme know what you guys think.

I was checkin out other threads on here and got to thinking about how much cash Im dropping on all the equipment Im puttin in. I was wondering what kind of insurance you guys have in the ways of stolen aftermarket equipment policies. Id really like to get insurance to cover all the equipment since I could have something else besides my Viper to rely on.
