  1. dammit, I have been trying to get money together to put one of these in my truck, now we just got a little PC in at Best Buy that Im thinking about tossing in my truck now. It's nothing compared to the Mac mini, but it's basically the equivalent to a netbook in PC form...cheap too. Door panels look great, too. Actually we just got these in at work, and with a little upgrading it would be a decent little computer to toss in a vehicle.
  2. Theyre great subs for the money, 4" VC and they're actually reconeable (if thats actually a word). Seems like people are wanting to try other brands of equipment
  3. I have never seen a brutus line amp do rated power on 14.4. care to show some text numbers?
  4. then money actually is an issue. Look at the different lines of CDT components. The models I heard were their lowest end models, and they sounded great, imo. So im sure their higher end models should sound as good, if not better.
  5. I would find a way to mount maybe 5.25 components, in the doors some decent co-ax's out back. If you're on a budget check out CDT they seem to have some decent reviews, and the 1 set I have heard sounded great to me.
  6. True that, I caught a case of the drag ass sunday, and it still hasn't gone away.
  7. Only took about 100 pics, but I still dont feel like linking them all individually...here is the album. Slamfest 2009
  8. Hey if you did that, you'd be right at home here in bradenton. lol. Looking good meade, I think I might try making rings your way, next time. Looks like it's easier than how I make them.
  9. my big 3 is grounded near where the sway bar is. Out back the batteries are grounded straight to the frame. Go straight to the frame when possible.
  10. well, if he's just wanting to build up a clean truck, and not worry about doing something earth shattering, why make things harder on yourself. Not everyone has to be a non-conformist conformist (I want to be different, just like everyone else).
  11. I say 1st gen S10 (the square ones) I like the look of squared off trucks and you have the ease of an S10 suspension, and all the aftermarket goodies.
  12. It almost looks like you need to lower the front more now. You gained a little bit of wheel gap up front now. It looks good with those rubber bands on there...next up just put re-tread on the rims. lol
  13. Just had a chick ask me to go see this movie with her tonight...might have found a keeper hahahaha
  14. I know you've barely got the prototype, but any guesses on when these might go into production? I'm building a single cab truck up, and would love to run a few of these.

  16. touche, but most HU's have a way of turning the internal amp off if you're not using it. I know my old alpine 9813 had a "power IC" option on the menu that would turn off the internal amp
  17. Only ones I remember seeing without amps were some Alpine units from WAY back in the day. Why are you looking for one without an internal amp?
  18. he has some threaded inserts that screw into the wood, similar to T-nuts, but quite different. T-nuts have always stripped out for me in MDF, I figure that's why he used the fasteners he did.
  19. Yeah he's running 4 of the new ones now, when I heard it last, he was only running 2 to a pair of level 5's
  20. That car is absolutely ridiculous. Last I heard it was the level 5's off 2 20.1's and it was sick. I can only imagine what it sounds like now...I should hear soon enough though.
  21. cheapest I've seen a B-stock was 600.
