i do want -
just re wired it again so it is now at 4 ohms sounds pretty clean now thanks everyone for the help only running the one subb at 450 watts guy want to look at one of the cvrs for sale
-
they didn't sound (blown) but the lows were a little fishy and didn't sound right and i was at first just like what ever but today i just got around to taking them out and seen that the all the 2 wires frm each sub so the th 2 red wires and the 2 black wires were wired back words and so i think that that had an effect on the subbs to make me think they were blown but they are good now i guess they sound louder and the lows are picking up a little more so its all good until i sell them hopefully
-
ok thanks i hear a little difference and see a lot more but if i can sell these things i think i will get me 2 dc lvl 3 15's 600 watts rms of goodness and plus dc's subbs are sick i think what you guys think of dc audio and thanks for the help guys i feel like im learning and that's a good thing lol
-
sorry to double post but if say they were wired back works like positives went to negative to the amp what would it sound like
-
ok so the kickers are getting roughly 600 watts each is that correct and if so you think thats is fine even though they are 500 watts rms
-
ok guys i just got done checking my subbs to see if they are blown and they weren't i dont have access to any fancy stuff so i used a 9 volt battery i had. my question to you guys is since my subbs are dual 4 ohm kicker cvr's i have bolth positives wired up and bolth negatives wired together on each sub but separate from one another and then to the amp i have a orion hcca d2400 amp that is one channel but has 2 positive terminals and 2 negative terminals what is the ohm load my amp is seeing here is a paint pic in case you don't understand http://i.imgur.com/ntoXy.jpg reds represent the (+) wire green and blue represent the (-) wire so the subbs are wired at 2 ohms separate so dose that mean the amp is seeing 1 ohm or ?? any help would be appreciated thanks SMD forum

so to calculate displacement frm a sub its different every time depends on the sub and manufacturer how about box rise is there just a single equation to do that
