  1. 6th order is usually louder than a 4th. i've designed both. 6th is ported into ported 4th is sealed into ported
  2. looks nice, but large. you could fit SA-10's in 9.6 cubes easy. and from the looks of it, you've got the surface area to do it as well.
  3. 4 12's ported in the trunk is damn near impossible. trust me i've tried. with the same subs, (hence the name). there's just not nearly enough room. and firing up hardly ever sounds good. you're better off just keeping a pair and running those ported, or if you have the room, bandpass. shoot me a PM if you have any questions about this.
  4. lol .35 for an HDC3? you're off by about .1 you probably could've done port back too.
  5. click the subs up button and model it just to make sure all the pieces fit together right
  6. shoot me a PM, i've done a few hundred designs. could help you out
  7. oh dear.. where to start with this thread..
  8. ^this is true. but that looks like it'd be a small port on a box for a single 10. it seems like it'd perform like a leaky sealed box, but i'll leave it at that since i don't have any specs to go off of lol. OP, i could design you something to bring that XL to life. Just shoot me a PM if interested.
  9. Is that tiny little square the port? lol if so you need some more port area
  10. Well it has to be something related to the RCA's lol. something changes when he takes one out. i had a similar problem with my very first system. one of the RCA's had a bad connection of something like that. swapped out the RCA's and i was back to bumpin
  11. well thar you go lol. that looks pretty sick. still, i'd say do the midbass, it's cheaper and probably easier.
  12. I don't know about the driver it's self, but yes, something like that would work much better
  13. don't do it. that's a lot of weight for your doors to support.
  14. Have you tried fiberglassing?
  15. Look up irpirate on the forums here. he's got 3 8" sundown neo pros in each door panel and one in each kick. I would usually avoid using subs in your doors, unless they work well in infinite baffle situations. some regular midbass drivers will work just fine.
  16. you can do the subs up port to the side. you might have the width. might not be the loudest config. hatchbacks go subs and ports up because of the horn effect.
