  1. Lol. Well I looked today, Lunar doesn't even make a L1200. They do make an L1500, which puts out 500RMS at 1 Ohm. So even if he has four of them, He is getting under 2000RMS after rise ad voltage drop.
  2. The AQ HDC315 can handle that power easily and beg for more. The DC 4 can handle it as well, but not much over that. Personally, I would go with the HDC315.
  3. Also, he plans to buy a "13K" sub soon. I told him no sub cost that much, and he of course replied with IDK what I'm talking about and the Jackhammer does. He seems to be one of those idiots who think it's the king of all subs, doesn't realize it's just a marketing ploy... Oh well, will make it all the better when he shit's himself after losing And I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt and saying P3, though he has no idea which it is.
  4. Put the last touches on the box yesterday, let the glue settle overnight, and finally got the baby in this morning. The box is roughly 4.5ft^3 tuned to 35hz. I had to take both seats out of my Dodge Dakota to get the box in, but damn was it worth the trouble I'm running it on a RF Punch 200.2 amp lol, had it pushing my temporary setup (Kicker CVR12). This monster is getting louder than my old Stroker122 on a Kicker Dx1200.1 amp!!! I will be buying a AQ2200 within this week, and man I cannot wait to see the output I get from my DD3515. Roughly 11 times the power This is my first system I've put together completely myself. Built the box, did the wiring, and all that good stuff, and it was a great experience and only makes me anxious to start on my next build! Now for the point of the post... Pulled up at school today with my DD3515 hooked up, showed off to all of my friends, they couldn't believe the size of the box, or how loud it was getting off a 200w amp. Then the guy comes up, looks at my sub and tells me it's a piece of shit with a paper cone. All my friends were like man it's just on a baby amp and it's still loud as shit, but his smug ass loves to insult my system LOL! Ordering my Aq2200d sometime this week, I believe they are unavailable right now. Once that's done and everything's hooked up, I'll set up a date, get both systems on the TL, and take lot's of pictures and video or two...
  5. Oh Okay. Well you might be better off just waiting the extra time to get dynamat or second skin.
  6. Didn't we just have a thread about this, like sometime yesterday? Anyways, don't be cheap and get the quickest solution. Better to do it right one time than wrong 50 times.
  7. Idk, DD and similar DC subs will be pretty close. can never go wrong with an aq1200.
  8. I know what you mean. I live in the middle of nowhere when I'm at moms, so the only internet they offer is wireless from some satellite. download speed is only like 40 kbs But when I'm at dads, download speed is around 400kbs. Huge change, gets annoying when you wanna watch videos or somethin.
  9. Not too great, but better than my moms wifi. Ping I believe is the time it takes to send a single from the server. Not too sure though.
  10. Damn dude, that blows. But that's Louisiana for you. One day you got all your shit straight, next day your only piece of audio equipment is a 12" that no one wanted I'm worried about someone stealing my sub. didn't get any special driver screws, worried someone might bust in my truck and take it. The school i go to is pretty damn bad with that kind of stuff.
  11. Nothing wrong with more powa! Especially if he want's to upgrade later on
  12. Just installed a 7in touchscreen single din in my friends 05 GMC Sierra which is basically the same truck as yours. You will need a wiring harness, antenna piece (don't know the technical name lol!) and a wiring harness. If you want to keep your chimes you can buy a wiring kit that will allow it, but if you don't want them you can buy a normal wiring harness for like $20.
  13. You shouldn't need to upgrade much, do the Big 3 and if you still see voltage drop then upgrade the battery under the hood. I ran 1200w for 7 months on stock everything with no problem
  14. Not bad for a first system man Soon you'll want more though, then you'll end up trying to figure out a way to fit 20 18's under your passenger seat haha good luck with the install man, you doing box and all yourself or what?
  15. Someone with a Kenwood avy is telling you to go with the Alpine instead of the Kenwood, so do it
  16. Didn't notice the Kicker Zx300 lol, yeah that should work great I'd personally get a JVC, given the brands you've listed. Mine cost like $100 and works fine, better than my $300 flipout touchscreen one
  17. An alternator is not something u want to cheap out on. That 250A alt probably puts out that power at 6k rpm, that's how they get away with calling it a 250A alt when it's probably worse than your stock. I would personally go with a D3400 under the hood or in the back to run the system, people have told me that should suffice for 2krms or so...
  18. A little over $100 I believe, contact a dealer on here for actual pricing and shipping cost
