  3. it shows him as being banned right now He's not banned, He made that his avatar as a joke. He's on the same team as me and a great guy
  4. Jeff this happened to me with my current box except it was only about an 1/8th of an inch. I just used my electric palm sander till they were a perfect fit, and the holes don't look ugly at all. Actually their as smooth as a baby's ass
  5. Sounds to me like the settings are wrong on the amp and headunit, especially if it's that loud at volume 15 but goes up past 30
  6. I'd be willing to sell my DAT 2500.1 prototype for $300. Rated at 2500 @1 ohm but did as much as 3100 when it was tested. Very clean power, I just want something a little bigger
  7. Everything looks really good except for 1 thing, why did you drill holes for your dowel rods instead of laying the baffle on top of them. Not sure how strong it will be with a bunch of glue poured on top of them

  11. More port like others have said. My single 3515 in my 2001 s-10 extended cab did a 144.3 legal. Box was 4.5 cubic feet with about 20 sq. inches of port per cubic foot. Amp was an Audioque 2200d with just over 400 watts after impedance rise. I Probably could have gotten a better score with a different box

  16. I've ordered from them a few times and never had a problem. Products always arrived in less than a week
  17. To the op, you need to listen to Ray and that's it. No offense to the others but that man has more knowledge and experience than most others here. James knows his shit also
  18. Mine came out to 7.5 @ 34hz. I only have a aq1200D to the pair but im getting either a AQ3500 or the Crescendo BC5500... havnt made up my mind. I just threw the subs in for SBN and took them out when i got home... just saving for batteries and an amp now. They surprised the hell outta me though! What amp are you running? I'm running a Diablo Audio Technologies hellfire 2500.1 prototype, one of the first ones made. These subs take a beating for sure. How do you like your Dayton mids and highs, I've been considering selling my components and running some of their stuff in fully active setup
  19. Good shit man! We have the same subs, same truck, and very similar boxes. Only difference is I did one large port on the driver's side instead of 2 smaller ones. Mine came out to be about 7.5ish cubic feet tuned to 36 hertz, what are the specs on yours? On paper I have about somewhere between 2500-3000 watts on the pair and they don't even break a sweat.
  20. You may have had it wired to the power antenna wire which is also typically blue with a white stripe
  21. Is the remote turn-on connected(does that radio have one)?
  22. 47? dang thats pretty high. unless you like the punchy bass But those little guys are movin! He's building a 4th order bandpass not a ported box, tuning is different on those. Should still hit the lows just fine
