2:1s always work well in 4ths as the rule of thumb. My Malibu only had 1.5:1 and it got nasty. If you REALLY need the space I say try it 1.5:1 ratio

Good shit will. What I love is these subs aren't built for numbers but to grind out the lows. When they can dig really deep on lows and still be able to beat out a solid number. That's what makes me happy
