Remember this though quality components are key in crossovers, and it won't always be right the first time. When I was with the Audio Engineering Society here at Michigan Tech it took more than 1 attempt for each member to build a crossover with the appropriate roll-off and characteristics desired.

You must have caused a short on a capacitor inside the amp, they store energy and this short caused the amp to melt down much later. It happens, just gotta know a lot about the internals of solid state amplifiers. This T1500bdCP means business that is for sure.

I have a RF T1500bdCP that makes 1767 @2ohms, and 1921 @1ohm in the fs section. PM me if interested. I would love to see it get some good use.

Gen II Fi BTL fully loaded 12, I hit 143.3db @44hz with a T1500bdCP per coil... Enclosure was 2.54 cubes @39hz. I have no experience with the N2 though. Like they all said, car, box, power...it all matters.

Hiya, my name is Justin Wilson and I found myself here due to Steve's youtube channel. Learned a lot from this sites members and hopefully taught a lot to some.

Nope just Houghton, Houghton Lake is about 390 miles south of where I am lol. I am originally from the Bay City area but up here at Michigan Tech for now.

It is 4ga inputs, I used a wire reducer to run 0ga to it, cheap to pick them up. I am not 100% on how the Constant Power Technology works but I know it was a huge difference in output at all levels from my 09 T1500bd. Hell even at 4ohms this amp puts out 1172rms, 1767@2ohms, and 1921@1ohm. They are pretty good amps in general.

I like it, looks great really. Can't wait to see the end result.

If not then I suggest you fuse after the distribution block with each amps respected fuse rating, or you could buy a fused distribution block and place the proper fuses there to save money.

That or you could use a reducer. I believe stinger sells them. Wouldn't it make more sense to buy a splitter since im running it to 2 amps? A simple distribution block is all you need in that case. Do the amps have their own fuses?

I think that as a noob we should find him a good starting reference. I'm not talking P1's now, that would be ridiculous. Even at my local RF dealer I could get a P3 for $118 out the door. Find yourself a P400-1, 4ga wiring kit, prefab box, and rcas. All for under $450 shipped, brand new. Also He could not have a Frankenstein monster his first go at a system. Let this little bit of bass turn him into a basshead like us then he can branch out to bigger, louder systems as he and his wallet seem fit.

I assume you have a headunit and therefore only need, box, amp, wiring, sub(s), rcas? For a simple setup that is.
