there is no cut and dry answer to this.. more cone area makes it easier to get louder..and so does power..but what they will do can be very application dependent

loudest with both doors open? thatd be different...but like stated acoustics are a bitch..my truck is loudest with drivers door open and the drivers window down...sealed up it falls on its face lol

only reason id disagree with this is we know how bad the upgrade itch can get..with the level 3's hed have the power handle if he were to add power down the road...if the budgets there id get the 3's IMO -
to recap your power wire from the front batt will go front batt---fuse--------------------fuse--secondary battery---fuse---amp the ground you have off the frame will run to the secondary battery and then from the secondary batt to your amp frame----secondary batt----amp the big gap in the power wire is the wire running through your car then a fuse somewhere close to the second batt usually within 18inches or so

easiest way to ground your amp will be from the second batt.. i would use the ground you have now (if its 0 gauge and a good ground) to ground you battery then do a run off the ground post of your batt to the amp... along with what you said above and WALLA second battery

the thing is the extra battery will help as much if not more in a daily driven situation.. the extra reserve supplied by a secondary battery can help you to maintain a higher voltage for longer bumping periods

unless your run some serious alt power you are seriously limiting the amount of power you can run with only 1 battery man..and yes the big 3 can help quite a bit..seen varying amount of help but it has help in every situation ive seen it used
