    Don't go heavy on them at first, but the smell is the normal DC smell lol. Break in for a week or until you feel comfortable, then let 'em rip.

    You only needed the appropriate module because your unit didn't have Bluetooth built in, right?

    That should work just fine. That's the same spec list I saw on my older jvc unit. All I had to do was turn Bluetooth on my phone, pair it with the head unit, and stream away.

    I know a lot of the JVC units out there support BT playback, just not sure about the 4v preouts. Have you looked into Kenwood yet?

    Ahem. No need to disguise it when you're talking about me lol. I've run a 4 channel only using 2 of the channels for years. Recently hooked up the other 2 channels and have had no problems. So as stated above, if there's no power going into those channels, no signal is being amplified. Thus, less amp draw throughout the amp.

    PM'd. 12volt is hit or miss though, and sometimes the wiring diagrams are just not in depth enough for me.

    It's damn near impossible to find anything online for free with all the info you need. I usually just hop on alldata or mitchell on demand. I have the login info for mitchell on demand if you want it man.

    The way I've understood it, is that both sides get calculated into the port length. Just gotta make sure that for a slot port in the middle that bends into each chamber, the port width gets cut in half at the bends. For instance, if the port coming from the front of the box is 4 inches wide, when you go into the bends, the port will be cut down to 2 inches wide going into each chamber.
