    I'd say just deal with it til the new one comes in... It's a temporary H/U for a reason lol. Introducing any type of "quick fix" could either damage it more, or send dirty power/signal to the amps and damage the rest of your goods.

    What direction are the sub and port facing? I think the best results in an SUV are port back, sub up from what I hear.

    I think that's the same as regular plywood, just with a sanded finish. Don't think the strength characteristics are going to change though.

    They usually are too lazy, so they say "I clamped at 1245 watts on a 1500 watt amp wired at .5 ohms, this amp is junk..." If they new about box rise, and realized that their box sucked, then they'd redo the box. If you do it yourself, take the extra 2 minutes to calculate and factor in box rise so you know what you're actually working with. Gimme a minute to grab a link for you, better write-up.

    Stock alt and stock battery? If so, all the big 3 will do is help the voltage drop and keep your voltage more stable. I only gained half a volt doing my big 3.
