  1. http://dd4life.3dcartstores.com/B-Stock_c_16.html Some pretty decent deals! Figured I'd pass it on.
  2. SPL-Lab if your on a budget TermLab if money is no object.
  3. Wrong. The channels are paralleled internally. It would be like the amp seeing a single .5 ohm load.
  4. I hate the flames, and it looks like an explosion in a McDonalds under the hood. Other than that I like the S10. Dodge has too many miles for my likings, but I am a long bed fan.
  5. Or if you have someone do you a free design atleast make sure they know what they are doing first.
  6. Have you gone to their site? Not only is the amp not listed, but the amps they list there are also only listed with max ratings. Autotek used to be good stuff, the MM series atleast. The old school MM4000.1's were strong amps. Their new stuff is just blah.
  7. I mostly trout fish, haven't done much of that this year been so busy with other things. Heres a 23" 3.25lbs native brown I caught earlier this year. One of the biggest natives caught in GA this year so far. Yeah I know, I got the pirate eye going on, sun was right in my eyes.
  8. I think he's more referring to like matching the quarter wave and such... That being the case I'm going to sit back and take notes. It's always interested me, but I'm not enough of an SPL guy to go out of my way and learn; but since he asked, I'll learn. Lol
  9. yea im not to worried about that, im making an entirely new bench portion of the seat. so i can basically make the box as tall as need be (as long as people arent crunching their heads on the roof of my truck ) Lol that was an issue in mine. With my 2" seat lift anyone taller than 6' will be close. My 6' 2" buddy can't wear a hat back there. Lol
  10. I'm just trying to think on airspace. That was my main issue under the seat, my box actually protrudes about 1.5" in the front until I get my seat lift finished because I couldn't quite get enough space otherwise. I managed 3.25 net with 15 in^2 port per cube for my SA-15 under there.
  11. Sounds good, the only reason i have it "v-firing" is to fit two 12's on one side, if i didnt do it the inside sub would rub against the hump in the center of the truck How deep is it? Any way you could stagger them ever so slightly to get them to fit without the V? That would give you just a touch more airspace as well. There is my setup.
  12. The last design is similar to mine, except I don't use the v shaped mounting surfaces. It's super simple, and works very well. I experimented with forward firing, upfiring, and downfiring and basically a wedge box with legs, downfiring was the best setup I found as far as loudness, and good on music. Edit: Just saw that this was in the SPL section, I'm not an SPL guy by any means. From what I've gathered forward firing seems to be the best bet for SPL under the seat. Just didn't sound that great overall in my Titan.
  13. The sigs can handle power, if he's getting smelly on 2k something ain't right. It won't take 18k by any means I don't believe, and there are more than 36 of them, but they can handle power and get damn loud. Probably say 18k burst/burp's It may very well do 18k burps, the Super Extreme (I believe it was) is lower than the sig and was rated at 4k RMS.

  15. Awesome, bike ride, and cruise in got rained out. Black Ops will do instead I suppose.

  16. # Zach Taylor * 22k? # Dustin Wright 7 hours agoSent from Mobile Dustin Wright * Shipment got delayed.
  17. And exactly how will that $600 Arai save his head better than the $200 HJC CL16? Both are good quality helmets, both are dual layered, the Arai's main factor in price is that it is made of lighter material, and is better sealed and quieter. I worked in a bike shop selling these helmets EVERY day, there are decently priced helmets that will do just a good of a job saving your life as the more expensive ones, and leave money for saving your skin. 99% of motorcycle wrecks the helmet does very little, it's human instinct to try to catch yourself which slows head impact, if your head even makes impact at all. Your body will ALWAYS make contact. Not saying to skimp on a helmet by any means, just saying there is no point in spending all your money on one and skimping on other gear as well.
  18. Ready for some time on 2 wheels!

  19. My Alpinestars leathers are as comfortable as my everyday clothes. I get what you're saying about comfort, but if it could potentially save your life you can deal with a good bit of discomfort. When I was doing MX my Leatt was my best friend, it only took 2-3 rides to get used to, and was well worth it. It took longer to get used to my boots then it did my Leatt.
