i love my d3400 i have a single xs 3400 in my work car powering a rockford t1000 on 2 rockford hx2 10s and a 500 watt 4 channel stock alt n BIG 3 and i stay above 13.8 driving couldnt ask for a better battery..i charge it with my buddies intellicharger 1 time a week and im always fresh to go even tho i like shhurikens too..xs is better

get gorilla tape.. that shit does wonders.. 1000% better than ducttape

best bet is to get gorilla tape and just fold a piece to fit the gap and start trying to pick em out.. i had a re se motor i was doing n that happend 2 me..spent 2 hrs cleaning but i got it..

some audiobahn amps were so so on the rated power.. i had the 1800watt mono amp..forget the actual model..but it served me well..and ive had a few other audiobahn amps too.. decent quailty but for 250 bux for the hifonics 1200 thats insane!! my buddy has had 2 of them and they fry..he swithced to a audiopipe 1500d and never had a issue since..and thats a 150dollr amp brand new

new ssd line is totally different from the previous models...they rate them for 1k rms stock now instead of 800rms..and they r a neo magnet its not a good idea to mix match woofers like that.. different models have different frequency responce etc etc etc.. if u wanna keep a aq1200d might as well get 2 sdc 12s or 10s and build a sick ass box for them.. no subsitute for cone area

what size of sub is this?? edit i see its a 12... a kicker 1000.1 is wayy to much amp lol\.. but i did a customer install about a yr ago i did 2.7 cubes net volume tuned to 32hz with 14" of port per cubic foot and it rocked for a single sub

my co worker has a 98 civic coupe he runs a stock alt with the big 3 a shuirken bt20 under the hood and a shuirken bt35 in the back..he runs a hifonics 1000d on 2 type r 12s and a small 400 watt 4 channel..and he stays in the mid 13 volt range drivin down the road..\ just a idea of what some1 else has pushing basically same power

o ok yea a bigger battery like that would be great as a primary and only battery..BUT sad thing is honda takes small ass batteries under the hood

dude a xs 3400 is wayy to much battery so to speak..i mean its never bad to have more reserve..but in his case its total overkill.. even on xs power website they suggest a much smaller battery.. do the big 3 upgrade in 0 gauge wire..and get a small battery in the back..the underhood battery is fine..(as long as it holds charge etc)... and make sure u have proper grounds

for 1200 watts rms thats going to be around a 100 amp draw.. i would do the BIG 3 upgrade..and at least get something like a kinetik hc600 or shuriken bt20 xs power d680 etc.. just so it has a little more reserve power rather than the immediate demand from the under hood battery.. capacitors dont help with anything at all..well maybe a digital volt meter but thats it... they r totallyt worthless... unless u are using like 400 watts or so and have a 1 or 2 farad cap...then yes it would help some to maintain voltage..but not much

my buddy had the same amp ur talkin about... he had it on a single dc lvl 4 12 at 1 ohm..no clippd power and the proper electrical too 100ah battery and big 3 done..he stayed in the mid 13 volt range full tilt it lasted 4 weeks and fried...got a replacement sent it lasted 3 weeks and fried.. he switched to a audiopipe 1500d and no issues since..that was 6 months ago now not telling you to go out and buy audiopipe or something .. just sayin there are better amps than the hifonics... if u do look into audiopipe amps i been running whats in my sig for ehh..8 months or so..and NO NO NO issues at all also what kind of electrical do u have to support that kinda power?? batteries? high amp alt? etc
