how does the P2 stack up against the: re rex 8 ($50) kicker comp 8 (2 for $100) infinity reference (2 for $120) kicker cvt ($75) mtx rts8 ($65) RF p1 ($60) or the polk db8 ($60) and now this turns into a VS. thread.... which as most of us know are no-no's so before this turns into a battle of the brands, just pick the one that has the highest RMS power handling. you're not gonna hear a difference between subs in that price range and im not trying to say whats better i just honestly asked what was the difference in them. all i see through comparison is very minute differences then your probably better off buying the cheapest subs you can get and save a few bucks while you're at it

Ya when your learning about things like that it can be confusing but no worries man that's what this forum is for. Just read and learn as much as you can so you can make an informed decision on whatever type of product you buy. Read up on impedance loads, subwoofer wiring diagrams, etc or whatever else you want to learn about and also understand and know the specs of your patrticular amp so you know how much power at a certain ohm loads the amp puts out. Then you can figure out the sub wiring configuration which will best suit your desired setup.

N8ball2013 is absolutely right. And yes, having a dd-1 is essential in being able to properly set your gains. But that means absolutely nothing when the sub that's being powered is unable to handle the rms that the amp puts out.

Does that only work with certain headunits? Or will any headunit crossover freq. setting override the crossover setting on an amp if the headunit setting is lower?

yes they will have that battery in stock for the GB. If you noticed they will be starting the GB in mid - late feb. They are trying to get everything situated before the GB begins ok cool thx

i need an XP950 but when i checked on audiosavings.com this particular model wasn't listed. i double checked the pricing list on the 1st page and the XP950 is listed on there. does anyone know if they will be adding it to audiosavings when the sale happens?

with that many different rms ratings for your subs, how did u wire them all without blowing the P1s?
