  1. youll be right in the area between 121 dB and 160dB. sorry theres way too many variables
  2. that should be a good spot to ground it. just sand/grind the paint off the area where the ring terminal makes contact with the metal and clean the surface rust off the washer too and you should be good
  3. That would leave you at 10.6 inches per cube of port which is good. and your internal volume is 4.73 with 0.57 port volume
  4. I would go with the 1.75 cubes tuned to 32 Hz. what amp will you be running these off of?
  5. is that bolt going into any thick piece of metal or just the seat frame thing? if that bolt is on that holds the seat in place then you should be good with just sanding the paint off where the ring terminal contacts the metal
  6. you should have entered 5.3 into the gross volume instead of net volume because the 5.3 is after sub displacements but before port displacement
  7. i think with aero ports you need between 9-12 sq in per cube so youre a little low on port area but not too bad. maybe somebody with more experience on aero ports can help out
  8. I came up with tuning of just over 27 Hz 7.72 sq in of port per cube and .42 port displacement
  9. swing my door by gucci mane! no just kidding dont do that!!! try here: Bass Mechanic by DJ Billy E might work for you but ive never listened to it
  10. i just installed some rockford fosgate p3's and they had high roll surrounds
  11. standard 12 volt vehicles charge at ~14.4 volts so you would be getting 100w out of the amp
  12. to attach the edges to the wood you could use the adhesive and drill and countersink holes and use screw to hold it as well. one thing it 3/4" might be too thin for how large of a piece you are using but i dont personally have experience with plexiglass
  13. Thanks for the reply, but reason i am looking for a 15 to work in such a small sealed box, is i am thinking about doing 8 15s in the extended cab of a dakota again!! why not just do 4 in a ported box? it would be alot cheaper and louder if done right i thought the exact same thing when i read that. less of a wow factor but way more wow factor once they hear it
  14. could be a bad starter solenoid as well. if you tap the starter with a hammer or wrench and that doesnt fix it then put a screwdriver between the battery positive on the solenoid and the trigger terminal and see if the car starts
  15. basically when two dissimilar subs try to produce the same frequency there will be cancellations at certain frequencies
  16. since this only has 2 wires to it what controls it from turning on and off?
  17. haha ive never heard the word scuted. im guessing you mean like credit carding yourself or popsiscle sticking yoursself? that sucks. its hard to skate with ear problems. even like a small ear infection throws off ur balance like crazy
  18. I've seen a few people say they skateboard in their interests but how many people on this forum skateboard? Post up some vids if you have them! Here's a video of me and my big brother skating the other night. Check it out, comment on it, subscribe to my channel if you like my stuff
  19. 2 level 3 DC's, 1 DC level 4, 2 AA chaos, 1 AA havoc, 1 Fi BL, 2 DD 2500's, 1 DD 3500, 2 Rockford T1's, 2 sundown sa's, the list goes on.
  20. only the level 6 from dc comes with a 4" coil. all the other subs from them are 3" but other than that I think the XL would be closest to the BL
