    i did that and switched cord did the exact same thing.

    mine does this too, but only when i turn it from the lowest setting to when i turn it uo on the bass knob.

    soo is that how long the battery can be used at how many amperage it put out? so that be like 81 amperage per hour at 12v?

    looking at getting a optima battery or a kinetik one would you suggest in the long run?

    smell is gone maybe was a loose wire maybe internal external or something sitting on the amp cause now it doesnt get as hot as before

    just today when i was playing my sounds it started to smell and smell like burning wire. I was wondering if anything is wrong with the amp? I have been playing the system for over 4 months with no problem till today when it got smelly. The amp never turned of or went into protect mode. The gains was set with a oscope. 4 volt preout deck rainbow germanium 6.5 speaker running each channel 1,2 each tweeter 3,4 is the 6.5 component speaker. Any help?
