  1. Exactly. There is a dimmer or illumination wire behind the radio (that dims the display) when the dash lights are on. There has to be a blown fuse somewhere man.
  2. I would need to see a pic of the harness in the car. The two thin plugs should be it man.
  3. Ok. So did you plug in the thin black and grey plugs to your car?
  4. It should be the two thin black and grey plugs. The other plug is for newer models. (2002ish and up I believe) Can you get a pic car side?
  5. This is a good video, but.... .....My friend did that at Steak n Shake... Even though the server deserved it, it was way uncalled for. Funny story now though.
  6. The Metra harness would be an 70-1817, and the Scosche harness would be a CR01B.
  7. Nice! Glad to know you guys have done stuff with them. What alts do you offer for them? I have a 1999 Mercury Mountaineer with the 5.0 in it. Thanks!
  8. Do you guys make anything for the Ford 5.0 though? I heard somewhere they were hard to get HO alts to fit due to space behind the alt.
  9. I would like to know how the $60 chip works. It says money back guarantee. Sooooo, I think you should try it and lets us all know. Haha
  10. Why does it matter if you have a 360.2? because all his amps are probably on "all pass" and actively crossed over at the processor (the 3sixty) like mine are . we added the gain matching feature to this though so it also has more then just one basic function Ok, the crossover part makes sense. So this device can match crossover points too? But the gain matching part would still help even if I am running a 360.2 to multiple amps. Is it just not realistic because you can still do it with an o-scope?
  11. "4.6l V-8. The 5.0 ended back in the 90's." Right, but I didnt know what year yours was. Do you make anything like this for the 5.0?
  12. What engine does your Crown Vic. have, I thought they came with the 5.0 V8. What year is it? Awesome alt though, I really could use that in my next build.
  13. You got a very good point there my friend:) But I really want a amp that produces a good 2000 watts at 1 ohm. But I still have yet got the right one. Also lol. I know I shouldn't run it at 1 ohm Someone might have some better ideas, but if your tight for money maybe do an amp like the Hifonics Brutus BRZ2100.1? If you have some money though maybe do the Rockford Fosgate T1500 or a Sundown SAZ-2500D? Just some ideas to think about, good luck man.
  14. Theres another video that shows alittle more of everything. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PkZJoM0yaLE&annotation_id=annotation_634096&feature=iv
